I first heard about this company when they launched it in Manila and when my BIG BRO - Noel mentioned it to me a few years back (5-yrs-ago) :'( I would have been in the top position by now. :o  But anyway, I am happy to be IN THE BUSINESS ;) now and I am so happy and proud to find out that there are lots of Filipinos, especially CEBUANOs in the business!!! Wow i didnt even know the Gdi story till 2 days ago and i've been a member for a couple months. Its great that you can promote overseas. I was using my websites for other purposes but since Gdi is international i can see the world and work at the same time. Is Gdi very prominant in the phillppines? im finishing skool online so i can travel at the same time. My goal is 1 million before the end of the year!!

   I agree to that - cuisine stuff! I cook some of them and my husband is loving it.... i tease him sometimes that he is making me dislike my own favorite food cos he asked me to make it almost everyday. :D But hey, what can I say he heard about it years before he met me and now that I am with him he said, "I am so lucky." Posting and all.  Im not sure as to why they seem a bit scared to join.  Maybe because of all the pyramiding and networking scams they got into.. The thing i noticed is a lot of people from butuan and cebu are signing up. Ive seen a couple of cebuanas poste in the leaderboards. Hmmmm

I agree with you on how Filipinos are afraid to deal with anything that has -even in the slightest- to do with multi-level marketing. My suggestion to overcome that hesitation is to emphasize the fact that they are not required to buy a bulk of "products" that they can actually buy at the supermarket {you know what I mean  :)} and convince people to buy from them. Also, when I send an email to my friends back home, I send them a link to the new testimonials where a few affiliates from the PI are showcased. This will (hopefully) give them that "proof" that it will and it DOES work. Another thing, you can emphasize that with more and more people going online for sites like friendster or myspace, joining GDI will just be another part of their online "routine" with the PLUS of earning great income. What better way of earning than by doing what you already are - going online!

I must agree that it's quite challenging nowadays to convince Filipinos to join because of a lot of pyramiding scams in the past. I just keep on sending invitations anyway and do follow ups hoping that there will be change in mindset eventually.

Being that there's LOTS of scams on the Internet, I can understand why people would be afraid. The best thing you can do is to direct them to the page that says "Company Information" on your Website. Let them read about the company and do their own research and they will see it's a genuine business.

I'm Angie from Tacloban City, Philippines and I've been with the business the past couple days. I like everything about GDI! Simply put, the product is incomparable with other MLM's. At $10/month that's roughly P600. Not much when the potential is H-U-G-E. The compensation plan is great. The support from the whole team is really amazing. The prospect list for the business goes on and on since this is truly without boundaries. As with any MLM, I sincerely believe that in order to be successful, we have to do our best! So right now, I'm planning on buying loads of coffee to wake up when I work on GDI till the wee hours of the morning! ;D

Hi I'm Arnel. I think you're all probably a little bit older than me in this biz having signed just a week ago (in the trial mode). I have just been with 2 mlm companies including the food supplements i'm distributing right now. I came upon GDI when I was looking for a webhosting company that will house my up and coming website. When I saw the red ferrari and the other automated tools that GDI has, I saw myself finally finding the the medium with which to change my stars. I saw my business suddenly becoming global rather than just thinking locally.

I have not really hit it big in MLM at least for the last 5 years I was in. But come to think of it, maybe I didn't because I always loose heart and passion and love for what I was doing. I practically have to drag myself to talk to someone miles away and tell them what a great business opportunity I got. Only to find out that they're not interested at all and they just decided to meet me just to get me off their backs once and for all.

But for GDI and hosting my food supplements biz, I let my fingers now do the walking and talking to clients not only here in the Philippines but the entire world as well. With GDI's tools, I am referring my biz to 3-5 people a day for the last one week compared to 1-2 people A MONTH before GDI.

And just after my 7th day on the trial mode, on the 8th day I shared this to somebody who was actively looking for a biz in the IT industry and right there, he signed up. Shared it 830am. signed up at 10am. Got a level 2 sign-up at 3pm. and another 4 sign-ups at 10pm. All in the same day. :)

My secret? There's no secret. What I've learned just recently that succesful MLM leaders did not think about the money at first. It just came as a result of their unceasing referral activities, day in day out. And so, I have decided upon myself to embark on that same path. And how can I not do it with GDI? Internet surfing is my passion. This will never be work for me. I will focus on sharing this biz and take it a level higher than now and refer it to 10-15 people a day for the next 3 weeks. Because I know if I fail in anything I do, its because I allowed it.

I'm filipino, I'm currently station in okinawa, japan.  I will got back to the California very soon.  I'm also going to try to promote this in the philippines. But with low income in the philippines they will have to pay 500pesos a month.  Some people in the philippines will not be able afford it and some will have difficult to understand the concept.  What's the best advice to promote this GDI?  I'm just started this week and trying my best to plan ahead and how to convice people to sign up.

I am just new in GDI, but I have a blog which has become a bit popular among Filipino foodies, where I have placed a link to my .ws, and I hope it will contribute a bit to getting some downlines.

I have a question.  I have a sister whom I want to be one of my downlines, but she does not have a credit card, so I plan to use mine.  Is that okay?  To those of you in PI, how are you going to (or maybe you are receiving already) your checks?  (I want to know how my sis can get checks in case she becomes successful in this endeavor).

I am in the US.  My sis is in PI.  I like to help her achieve financial independence because I cannot afford to send enough $$$ monthly to help her out.  But I surely can afford the $10/monthly fee for GDI webhosting services (in case she will have a hard time getting downlines).

I work at home, so she can chat with me anytime during daytime (I actually am online usually from 5 am to 8 pm, on and off working online as a medical transcriptionist QA).  I have 12-hour difference from PI time, so she can chat with me anytime from her 5 pm to 8 am. If she lives in Metro Manila, I would encourage her and my sister to try to work together (My sister lives in Quezon City and is quite knowledgable in the ins and outs of Metro Manila).  I think if they try to work together, they can get encouragement from one another.

Hi everybody i'm a new member. When I read the article and saw the presentation, there were no hesitations that I have to join this company. I was working as a call center agent previously, I resigned because I was not abel to see my family a lot due to the regular change of my schedule. It was also very exhausting since we were on graveyard shift most of the time. Eventhough it paid good, I have faith that I will be able to find a job or a business as I may say that would also give me a satisfied revenue and most important of all, it would still let me be with my family a lot.
I know I will still have to work hard for this business, I would need a lot of help from the experienced people in this business.

Good afternoon everyone. I have heard about GDI a few months back but wasn't bit interested to be a part of it. Firts because I was scared of anything to do with multilevel marketing and second because I know no one who'd be interested to be my downline. Lately though, after careful thought, I've decided to give it a try. My problem now is I  don't know how to get prospects. All the people i've talked to were very very skeptical about mlm. I've tried emailing my friends and out of 50, only 4 checked out the site and did not really become members. Please help me. I am very much willing to work hard for this.

Retired American living in Pangasinan.  This looks interesting.  First question is, how do Filipinos pay for joining?  I have a US-based Visa Card so it is easy for me but I'm wondering how Filipinos deal with this since local Visa Cards are based on Pesos.  Is a dollar-based Visa Card needed or is there a way to get one in the Philippines?  Is this a problem?  Otherwise, GDI looks first class from what I have seen so far.

2.   the problem here in the philippines is that mostly of the people
here uses atm card that is not mastercard or visa affilliated.it takes
few weeks/months for you to get your visa/mastercard affiliated card.


3. i dont have a personal computer so that is why i am just using the
public internet cafe and it takes for me php25 every hour of using

Hi Crisanac, welcome to GDI and the forums.  :)

There are so many ways to improve and increase your GDI business.  You are right, there is a ton of information out there.  And many many ways to market.  Here is a bit of advice.  As you learn how to market and you discover all the different methods there are, pick only 2-3 methods and stick with those.  Research all you can on those methods.  And keep doing them until you start getting results and have mastered them.

Virtually all marketing methods out there work.  The trick is learning how to do them properly and then following with daily consistent action.  Do them everyday, because nothing you do will bring instant results.  But, the more you do it the better you get and the stronger it becomes.  It's like stacking pieces of paper one on the other in order to create a tower.  One piece of paper is not very high.  But if you keep stacking one piece of paper onto another eventually you will look at it one day and it will be very tall.  Do you see what I'm saying here?

With that said, you wanted simple and specific instructions to start your GDI business going.  Here is something anyone and everyone can do.  Get yourself some business cards.  You can use the ones from your GDI back office, these are really nice.  You can also order them from places like VistaPrint for very cheap.  Then get in the habit of placing a card in all the places you visit.  When you go out to eat leave one along with your tip.  Leave one on the counter of stores.  Leave one in a taxi when you reach your destination.  Put them in hotel drawers.  Just, everywhere you go, leave behind a card.  It will become habit in no time.

One of the biggest things that separates people who get results and people who do not are the habits they form.  Get in the habit of doing things productive to your business.  They don't have to be big, they build over time.  Just keep doing them.

Another thing you can do is join some forums and read/post in them every day.  Then, in your signature include a link to your GDI page.  It may say something like, "Got Dot?  Why Not?" or "Build A New Life" or "Go Global.  It Only Makes Sense."  Put whatever you like, just be sure to be active in those forums every day.  Don't over do it.  Start with just a few forums then once a month or so add another.  Remember, your work builds over time, it's the daily action that really matters.

You might also consider creating a blog.  It's best if you don't use a free blog site, create your very own.  One you control completely.  Then just talk about what you did that day to grow your business.  What you learned that day about marketing.  Make some videos and just speak about what you experience in GDI and the marketing world.  When you get a sign-up, definitely talk about that and how it made you feel.  What your hopes are.  Things like that.  Blogs are very popular and if you post at least 3 times a week you will slowly start to draw attention.

Finally, to keep this short (because there are literally hundreds of things you can be doing) go out and get some training on building a business.  Take a look at people like Mike Dillard and watch their free videos and if you have the money, buy some of their ebooks and materials.  Because the more you know, the more you can share, the more value you have to other people and the more they will want to be around you and listen to what you say.

Yes, Vincent Parker's right.   One very simple idea:  3-step.

            1.  Build your own site.

            2.  Create own calling card (.ws site & contact info & order as many as u can afford);

            3.  Follow Vince Parker's reco:  MAKE it a HABIT 2 put dose name cards in ALL the "right places".

p.s.   when u do diz 3 tings:   u hit 2 birds....online presence (WebSite.ws = credibility) +  personalized service (business card).
