As far as safelits go, many companies do not want you to use these because you may receive a complaint{spam} To get around this problem you can use your safelists to make a free offer. An example of this is to advertise a FREE program like FreeViral. After you join this type of a program, just insert your GDI ad in the top location. People have to click on the ad to get a code number. And the more people that join your viral program, the more exposure you will get. There are many viral programs out there to choose from. I hope that this will help you out a little. Title: Re: GDI Text Ads for Safelists Post by: Levi Manners on June 18, 2006, 12:33:16 PM hi,
Did your upline tell you to post to safelist? Good advice. The earlier reply mentioned something about 'spam' with safelists. Times have changed. To 'spam' when your ad goes out from the lists web-browser is impossible. Unless you want to go through the whole process of spamming just to post an/one ad to safelists it's not even worth the time. You'd be better off just spamming outright lol. One of the best giant safelist to post to is Blast--4--Traffic. You email your ad to 23million, yes 23,000,000 every day with 1 click from their browser. 1000% ZERO spam!! Another good marketingprogram is inetekk/veretekk. You do NOT buy leads there! The leads portal system does the work for you. It brings in 1000's of leads with 1click and than sends a triple-optin verification email. All this is done with ONE single email-address called a CPT (email capture). Works like magic. NEVER a spam complaint!! It is awesome! Veretekk created the first FFA system Searchengine engineering long before Yahoo! Google, etc. Believe me, soon everyone will know about this 'silent' leads portal system. Anyway, there is nothing that comes close to safelists. Direct email marketing rule, period! Take care my-man! Levi 8) Title: Any success with safelists? Thanks Barsum ??? Title: Re: Any success with safelists? Post by: SanjinkaO on August 04, 2006, 10:58:07 AM Hi,
Yes, you can generate lots of leads using safelists. You just have to use them wisely. Never promote your opportunity in your safelist. Instead, offer something of value for free. That way you will build a list of network marketers who can become your team members eventually. Sanjinka Title: Re: Any success with safelists? What's a safelist? Thanks. Title: Re: Any success with safelists? Post by: SanjinkaO on August 04, 2006, 04:26:47 PM Hi Luis,
The Safe List Defined: A safe list is basically an email discussion list that you become a "member" of. The terms you agree to when you enroll is that you will permit all the members of the list to send email to YOU in exchange for the right to send email to THEM without having to worry about SPAM complaints. Some lists allow daily postings, some only allow weekly postings and some are based on a "credit" system where you earn "mailing credits" by reading the emails you receive from the list and visiting website links those emails. Usually for each "mailing credit" you earn (or that you purchase) you can send an email to one member of the list. For example...if you had 10,000 credits in your account and the list had 13,000 members, you could only send to 10,000 of those members. Please be sure to read and understand the rules of each list you join. I would send an email like this one: [begin safelist email] SUBJECT: Let's exchange contact information I'm looking for people who want to have REAL communication with me about online marketing strategies. Feel free to contact me if you're interested, but please don't send me a bunch of advertising messages because I'm only interested in sharing marketing ideas with you. Please contact me at: youremailaddress?subject=NEW_CONTACT Leave the words "NEW_CONTACT" in the subject line so I know to add your information into my contact manager. Please include the following information when you reply: 1. Your full name 2. Valid email address 3. AOL IM username 4. Phone number Here is my contact information for YOUR records: NAME EMAIL ADDRESS AOL/YAHOO/MSN IM: Phone: I'm looking forward to corresponding with you and finding out how we can mutually benefit each other's marketing efforts. Sincerely, NAME EMAIL ADDRESS [end safelist email] Your first goal is to attract attention and get the person to actually open and read your email. Some of the safelists (the credit based ones) give incentive for their members to open and read their emails and earn more mailing credits. These are generally VERY responsive. Play with your subject lines. Be creative. Don't send sales letters. Don't send ads. Offer your contact information. Offer to exchange contact information....etc. The idea is to generate a contact list at this point. I subscribed to about 2500 of them and yes, I get a gazillion emails. Fortunately, with the 10 email addresses and the ability to setup pop3 .ws email accounts, all those emails are not a problem.

Do I just do a search for them? Are most of them free? How do I set up a POP3? Is that in my options screen? What specifics should I know? How do I set up a POP3? Is that in my options screen? What specifics should I know? LB There are thousands of them. I recommend Pearls of Wealth. There are about 2000 safelists in their network and it's growing. They are all free to join. I also signed up for their auto-submitter. It automatically signs you up for each safelist, auto-validates your 2 email addresses, (contact & list) and auto submits your ad to each safelist. That is not free. Otherwise, you'll email your ad to each safelist individually. That's free. You will need 2 email addresses when you sign up... your contact email addresses for solo ads and your list email address (or sometimes called subscription email). Your list email address is where you'll receive the hundreds of email ads from other safelist users. (In my case.. thousands). But don't let that frighten you. With .ws option to setup pop3 email accounts, scrolling thru to find something that interest you then deleting the rest is no problem. Another thing, with safelists, because most are what's called double opt-in, you must confirm, (validate) both email addresses by clicking on the link in the email you'll receive from each safelist. Yes, it is time consuming to do each one individually, but who said running a business was a piece of cake? To setup a pop3 account, you'll need an email program like Outlook Express. Click on Tools > Accounts Select the Mail tab > Click the Add button > Select Mail Type in your Display name.. whatever you like > Click Next Type in your .ws email address you want to setup as pop3 > Click Next For incoming type email.ws > For outgoing type SMTP plus the name of your Internet Service Provider.. for example smtp.charter.net (be sure to add the dots).. You may want to check with your ISP to make sure that is the correct outgoing mail path.. If all is correct .. Click Next Type in your .ws email address and your password.. That should be it. After you've joined and validated your membership.. wait for the emails to start rolling in, which is usually immediately. There are larger, well known credit based safelists, such as GotSafeList, The MadVlad, etc. you may want to look into, also. I think I've covered it. Good Luck.
