1  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Yay! I got my 20,000 leads! on: September 07, 2006, 01:39:04 AM
Hey everyone, I just ordered and received 20,000 fresh new leads of people who, within the past month, submitted their information and are requesting more info on a home based business, preferably marketing.

I hope that this works for you.

I have not had much success with purchased leads and this seems to be the pattern for the people that I know who have purchased leads. However, I am open to suggestions - especialy if these are based on proven results. I prefer to generate my own leads.

Hi,

My experience in several fields tells me that it is better to generate your own leads than rely on others that you may have to pay for. I use a simple but effective method, using splash pages and free ad facilities, to generate my own leads. The benefit of this is that they are warm and untouched by others.

PM me if you want me to send you info on the method that I use.

Regards,

Hi,

I use splash pages and free advertising systems to generate free leads.

The advantages of this method are numerous and I get a steady stream of 2 to 3 people signing up for my lists per day. I then use these people to bring me more fresh leads. Some of the advantages are that the leads are:

1] Fresh
2] Not tampered with
3] Very targeted
4] Virtualy cost-free

If anyone is interested in how I do this, I will be happy to send you some info on the methods that I follow.

Keep it up. Don't lose hope.

4  .WS Business / Marketing / Opt in leads - Solution to your advertising problems? on: March 08, 2006, 10:19:03 AM
Hi,

I saw from a previous post that most people are looking for opt in leads. Here are a few things that I have observed:

1] Buying Opt in Leads - Are they any good?
This can be a hit and miss affair, because I suspect that some of suppliers strip out the best leads for themselves. Then they sell it on to the next level who do the same and so on, until you get the leads that no one else wants. I say that I suspect that this happens - more accurately, this is what I have been told by a lead buyer / supplier in a leading mlm company.

2] Competition:
When you buy opt in leads, you are probably competing with others, because the leads are ofetn sold to several buyers at the same time. The suppliers argue that competition is a part of the market any way.

3] How old are the leads?
Your guess is as good as mine. The only party that knows is the supplier who can make money from the leads for as long as he can sell them.

The point that I am making is that the industry tends to sing mantras, as if these are the holy grail, which they usually are not. My advice is to be open to wider possibillities. For example, why not explore the possibilities of generating your own opt in leads? In this way, you know that a lead is genuinely fresh and not tampered with in any way.

I'd be interested in any comments and I am also willing to share my strategies with anyone who would like to know.

Regards.

Grin
