Title: Questions Regarding Your GDI Account
Post by: SDBoltsFan on May 24, 2010, 01:59:22 PM

How in the world can GDI collect $22 instead of $10 when I never agreed to that. I emailed support no answer, I hope to get an answer here very quickly.

Unfortunately, due to security and privacy reasons, we are unable to discuss specific details regarding your account here on the forum. Our support department has been notified and they will be contacting you soon regarding your GDI account.

Hello Chris,

Unfortunately domain names can not be changed or edited. You can however create a new domain name and then cancel the existing domain name you wish to remove.

To create a new domain, please follow the instructions provided below:

1) Login to your account at www.website.ws/members.
2) Click "Domains" tab on the left hand side.
3) Input Domain name you would like to use in the "Check domain availability" space and click "Search".
4) Follow prompts to register your new domain.

Please note a $10 monthly fee will be charged upon completion of registration. An annual maintenance fee may apply to any non (.WS) domain names.

Once registration is complete and you wish to cancel your previous domain, please contact our support department directly with the name of the domain you wish to cancel.

You may contact our Support Department by email at support@wsdomains.ws or you may call (1)760-602-3000 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time. Please listen to the entire list of telephone choices in order to ensure you reach the proper department.

Hello Jahanzeb,

Customers may have ONLY 1 active account. Creating multiple accounts is a direct violation of our policies and may result in suspension and/or termination of your account(s).

Section 32 of IAPP:

32. A partnership, limited liability company or corporation may be an Affiliate. However, no individual may have an interest, legal or equitable, in more than one (1) GDI business or Affiliate Agreement in any form without express written permission from GDI. Only in the most extreme and extraordinary circumstances will this be considered.

Hello Christy,

It's hard to say which emails you should reply to and which ones you shouldn't. Some emails might be coming to you directly from GDI and some might be coming to you from your Upline sponsors. Ultimately, you'll have to read and decide which emails are the correct ones you should reply to.

Please keep in mind that it is against company policies to register/create multiple accounts, if you feel you have registered multiple accounts by mistake please contact our support department for further assistance.

I hope to create another business based upon the GDI affiliate program that also offers other goods and services. Is this allowed?

I hope to give my customers discounts if they choose to sign up with GDI. Is this allowed?

I hope to guarantee potential affiliates that they will make money if they get more than 10 people to join their downline. Is this allowed?

I hope to manage the accounts of individuals who don't have bank accounts or who are uncomfortable using the Internet by using a pre-paid credit card. Is this allowed?

Am I allowed to charge people to help them build and maintain their sites?

Am I, as a GDI affiliate, allowed to say "we offer" in reference to the product that GDI offers? And can I call it, "our product," or refer to myself or my personal company as a member of GDI (e.g. "we at GDI")?

Hello Willeum,

Answers are in red.

I hope to create another business based upon the GDI affiliate program that also offers other goods and services. Is this allowed?

As a GDI Independent Affiliate you are considered the equivalent of an independent contractor. You may run your own business which may include GDI's products and services along with any other products and services you wish to promote AS long as they are not in direct competition with GDI's products and services. You would be responsible for making sure your business is ran in a professional and ethical manner. Any promotion of GDI's products and services by your company must be done in accordance to GDI's Terms of Service, Independent Affiliate Agreement Terms and Conditions, and Independent Affiliate Policies and Procedures. Any violations of any of the agreements previously mentioned may result in suspension and/or termination of your account.

I hope to give my customers discounts if they choose to sign up with GDI. Is this allowed?

Affiliates are unable to offer any additional discounts or offers to their prospects other than the ones that GDI might be offering at the time.

I hope to guarantee potential affiliates that they will make money if they get more than 10 people to join their downline. Is this allowed?

Affiliates are unable to make any type of income guarantees.

I hope to manage the accounts of individuals who don't have bank accounts or who are uncomfortable using the Internet by using a pre-paid credit card. Is this allowed?

NO. Every member should be responsible for registering and maintaining their own account.

Am I allowed to charge people to help them build and maintain their sites?

As with any legitimate business, you may charge for services you render to your customers; such as web design. If such is the case, you MUST clearly indicate to your customers that such services and fees are being charged by YOU and not by GDI. You are not an employee of GDI and any guarantees, agreements between you and your customers, or  problems that might arise YOU will assume any and all responsibility.

Am I, as a GDI affiliate, allowed to say "we offer" in reference to the product that GDI offers? And can I call it, "our product," or refer to myself or my personal company as a member of GDI (e.g. "we at GDI")?

You are a GDI Independent Affiliate, when referencing any of our products and services it must be done in such a manner that there could be no possible misrepresentation of you being a direct employee of GDI.

Hello Marc-Jerry,

GDI does not require for you to fund your PayPal account using a specific method. How you choose to fund your PayPal account is completely up to you. The PayPal account you intend to use just has to be active and in good standing.

Hello Benedict,

One of the best selling points of the GDI opportunity is that it allows trial members to accrue commissions during their free trial. Trial members can refer prospects to their replicated affiliate sites and as prospects sign up they will help your downline grow. However, you will not be able to be paid commissions until your account becomes active.

If for any reason you wish to discontinue your GDI membership, you may do so by contacting our cancellation support department by calling (1) 760-602-3000 between Monday and Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time, choose the appropriate option from the menu, and we will be happy to assist you. Alternate methods of cancellation will not be accepted.

NOTE: Our office hours are based on the Pacific Standard Time Zone. Please make sure when contacting our office that you please do so from a time in your local time zone that is within GDI’s hours of operation. For more information on Time Zones and Time zone differences, please visit http://www.worldtimezone.com/. Hello Quinton,

GDI does not impose a limit on how many persons from the same household can register an account with GDI. However, each person must register their account themselves and agree to GDI's Terms and Conditions as well as our company's policies.

Title: Re: Questions Regarding Your Account
Post by: Dan E on October 17, 2010, 10:56:38 PM
Hello all!  My name is Dan Enlow. When I signed up with GDI, to be very honest, because of the very sincere offer, the gentleman making the proof of income video seem to have made. My (very skeptical) wife and I decided if he is willing to do that, it must be legit. Yup, I'm talking about the "five free down-line as soon as you sign up" offer. That's supposed to help you start making money right away.... Well I asked my direct up-line,( witch by the way, was not the guy in the video),, about my free five. I was told that the video that I saw, was an old one and he would not be able to do that unless, I came up with some down-line of my own first. So now my wife and I are wondering " another scam?" Since then I have not heard much from any of my up-line and nothing at all from my direct up-line. So now I'm just spinning my wheels, in the mud, on the side of a cliff, in the rain... without all this "support" and "training" I was supposed to be getting.  So my question is, how can I change my up-line to a more honest and supportive team? I still think GDI may be a good opportunity but I need a teem (up-line) I can trust. Okay that's all. Sorry for the novel size inquire. =o)

How can I make adjustments to the templates because some of the templates make the Page name too big and therefore limits the amount of Characters you can post on the page. I found a template that I really liked and when I entered the page name it just jumps off the screen!

I really need to know if there is anyway that I can adjust or modify the template to suit my pleasure!

Title: Re: Questions Regarding Your Account
Post by: SDBoltsFan on October 28, 2010, 03:19:32 PM

Hello Dan,

We are sorry to hear that you have been having such difficulty with your upline. Let me start off by saying that GDI is a legitimate business that provides a variety of internet based products to customers such as Domain registration services, Hosting services, WebSite building services, Webmail Services, etc. We have been in business for over 10 years with many satisfied customers.

All GDI customers are responsible for their own marketing strategies and promotions. Having said that, it is possible that your sponsor had originally thought up of a good marketing plan which unfortunately seems to have died out now. Customers are unable to change sponsors, this is done in order to maintain the integrity of the business model and prevent any potential cross recruiting. Please remember that if your sponsor is not active or very supportive, you do have alternatives. Customers can always contact the other members of their five level upline or come to the forum for help and assistance from other members.

Title: Re: Do you have a C-Panel?
Post by: SDBoltsFan on October 28, 2010, 03:28:27 PM
How can I make adjustments to the templates because some of the templates make the Page name too big and therefore limits the amount of Characters you can post on the page. I found a template that I really liked and when I entered the page name it just jumps off the screen!

I really need to know if there is anyway that I can adjust or modify the template to suit my pleasure!

Hello Ricardo,

Currently we do not offer C-Panel access.

The current SiteBuilder templates are as is. You may customize the website content but not the template layout.

Title: Re: search engines listing

if iwant to see if my site as been listed in search engines do i write my whole [website.ws/""""""""] or just the end ie the name bit
cheerz

Hello Burns,

Please note that what you have listed in your post is an affiliate link and not your domain. Search engines do not typically display results for affiliate links. If you would like to see if your domain has been listed, you must go to the search engine of your choice and enter a search for your domain (example: domainname.ws, domainname.com, domainname.net, etc) and review the results for your website. However, please keep in mind that there are several factors that search engines take into consideration when listing a website such as traffic, website content, keywords, etc.

Hello: I am very new and I am not understanding all of this at all, I am very confused. I think I may have signed up more than once because I am getting all kinds of email letters from different people and it is just too much to absorb. How do I know if I am responding to the correct emails?

Hello Christy,

It's hard to say which emails you should reply to and which ones you shouldn't. Some emails might be coming to you directly from GDI and some might be coming to you from your Upline sponsors. Ultimately, you'll have to read and decide which emails are the correct ones you should reply to.

Please keep in mind that it is against company policies to register/create multiple accounts, if you feel you have registered multiple accounts by mistake please contact our support department for further assistance.

You may contact our Support Department by email at support@wsdomains.ws  or you may call (1)760-602-3000 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time. Please listen to the entire list of telephone choices in order to ensure you reach the proper department.

Hey Christy, go to your member back office and on the left look down the column for "upline". Compare those names in the 5 levels up above you to those you are getting e-mails from. That way you will know your upline is welcoming you or if it is from GDI. Don't Freak Out!!!!

Title: Are some options for the ACME People Search Disabled During the Free Trial?
Post by: SEAN O on January 10, 2011, 03:08:28 PM
Hi, I am trying to register for Step 3 in the Acme people search (hostgator, GVO, etc.) and the boxes are all blurred out, not allowing me to enter an ID...even though I have already registered for their services.  Does anyone know why this is happening? Or will they automatically be available once my first payment is sent through after the trial? The only one in Step 2 that hasn't worked so far is MyLife.  I guess it is manual approval for that one.  Little help please, thanks  :)

I am on  step 3 in ACME People Search.  I have to admit Tissa said he would not take money to get money.  Is there anymore charges I will have to complete in order to start earning income? I am worried that I won't have enough income now, to start getting MORE income later.  And, at what point does the income start coming in...within days, hours, or even weeks? I don't want to be paying for step 3 before any income comes in.

Also, for step 3 it says wait 24-hours to get an activation code? Does this e-mail sometimes come before then so I can complete step 3 asap?

Thanks.

Hello Sean,

GDI is in no way associated with or partners with ACME People Search, so we are not sure as to what steps you are referring to. Acme People Search is an entirely separate company. For more information on their program steps, we would suggest that you please contact them directly.

As far as charges extending from your GDI account, we would suggest that you please contact contact our Support Department to get more detailed information regarding your account's monthly service fees. Hello Chris,

GDI does not automatically submit your website to any search engine. You will need to register your domain with the search engine of your choice in order for you web address to be cataloged and ranked or wait for them to eventually catalog and rank your website based on their web crawlers.  You can also use the search engines help section for specific information on how to register and submit your domain.

As far as a video tutorial, unfortunately, we do not offer one. However, a lot of the answers that you may seek can be found here in the forum. It's just a matter of searching for them. There is a search box located on the top right hand corner of the page where you can search by keywords for answers to questions you may have. If you are unable to find the answer, then you are more than welcome to post your questions here in the forum or contact GDI's support department.

Title: My problem using Site Builder
Post by: ClaudiaT on February 21, 2011, 09:31:42 AM
Hi,

I am in a trial period only and still very much confused on how to make use of GDI as my home based business. Initially I use the Sitebuilder. I just typed the Company Profile of my part time business as a practice but I can not delete it or edit it. There is an instruction to "click to edit". I did it but when i went back to my site, the first information that I entered was still there. Please help.

I opened the site of one of my uplines, and he created a very interesting invite. How can I do that. I tried to open my own domain, i.e. claudia@claudiat.ws, and when I opened it the company profile that I formerly mentioned was shown there. I'd like to delete it and replace a new one.

Sincerely,

claudia

I just registered on this website, yet I'm still blanked out.
I entered my paypal account to pay 10$ for my domain but suddenly,
the transaction disappeared and I just got entered into my account as how I enter normally.
I'm assuming that they did not take 10$ as I had not been notified.
It would be really appreciated if you could guide me to a certain degree until I understand how to move on.
The main reason I joined the website is to earn money online as my sister is very sick and I need to earn money for her medicines.
Of course I'm in a job here but my salary is 250$ per month yet, it's still not enough for everything especially when my sister is sick.
I am ready to work as hard as I can to earn money here, I currently have 200$ in my paypal account and I believe that it's enough to get started.
Though I am still blank out how to do next, the members area content is so huge.
Here is the domain I registered:
i10heart.ws
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thank you in advance.

How do you use the Help section in Mail? The search function is inoperative.

Hello Ronald,

We are unsure of what you may be referring to. This is the first time anyone has reported issues with the "Help" section in email.ws. We have tested the "Help" section as well as the integrated "Search" function and both are working properly.

Are you attempting to use the integrated "search" function as a normal "search" function (example: Google, Yahoo, Bing)? If so, it will not work as such for the "search" function is only meant to search the "Help" section for information regarding email.ws functions. For example, you may type "folders" in the search section and the results given will be any topic in which the word or subject refers to "folders".

If you need further assistance feel free to post a reply or if you wish, you may contact our Support Department by email at support@wsdomains.ws or you may call (1)760-602-3000 Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time. Hello

Firstly, 90% of sites on the web have many coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc etc) errors (including severe ones).

Secondly, what virus does your amazing anti-virus program detect (Trogan, Flooder, Backdoor, key-logger, etc etc)? I've never come across this problem before, neither have any of my downline (as far as I'm concerned).

Nikoleta,

GDI customers do NOT have to participate in the affiliate program if they do not wish to.

You will earn the same commission for customers as you will for affiliates (depending on their purchases). So if a customer OR affiliate registers 2 domains on a monthly pay plan (paying $20/month), you will receive $2/month from that affiliate/customer.

Customers register the same way as affiliates do, through replicated pages and sign up links.

Hi!

I want to change my Paypal ID from my GDI account to a new one. How can I do that? Please someone help me. thanks!

Hello,

assuming your talking about changing your preferred payment method:

You may do this by:
1.) logging into your PayPal account
2.) click the profile link
3.) click My Money and My pre-approved payments
4.) click Global Domains International
5.) click cancel
6.) confirm it

Once thats done, login to your GDI (http://my-ws.com) account and click preferred payment (under account info), then setup the agreement again with the instructions provided on screen.

If you need to change your preferred commission payment method, the PayPal steps provided above will not be necessary. Simply login to your GDI account and click preferred commission and make the following changes.

Okay, I just signed up for the free 7 day trial as well and when I proceeded to check out, they were asking for me to pay either $10-$15, but then I read at the top on the checkout preview and it stated they charge you $15 for any domain name NOT ending in .ws.
So, then I reviewed the other domain name suggestions which ended in ".ws", found one I liked and then proceeded to check out without having to pay for anything. I even upgraded my free trial to GDI Premium, but I just have to cancel the trial before the 7 days is over to avoid being charged $50. I also requested to add "domain privacy" for $1.00, in order to hide my personal information. And still when I checked out, I didn't have to pay even $1.00. I hope this was helpful!

Everyone, listen and learn to gain understanding of what you made a choice to become. You joined GDI for only two reasons. One being you just want to express yourself and passions on a blog. That is noble and something we love.

Second, you want a ethical and fun way to establish a new stream of income. You have your methods of producing money to pay bills. OK. Now, you desire to enhance you money flow and that is great. Yet, the trial period is for you to learn about GDI and establish your solid foundation with using it properly.

How, by contacting your sponsor and upline. If that fails, heck contact me day or night by my email below or call. That is how simple getting answers to your questions is. You have to get the right mindset/prospective and allow the learning process to take place.

Did you learn how to walk, the second you were born? So, why would you think you can learn all about the usage and the proper activity in one week?

Let us work together and answer your questions right away. This will allow all doubt about how to make extra money with GDI and make it last. Not just a quick buck. Yet, a lifetime of growing you monthly money doing the right activity.

I look forward in speaking with each and every one of you. Just, get in touch with the person who made this happen. Then if no contact is established. Then contact the upline listen in your main members area.
