Yes those of us of have a downline know the importance of support and keeping our business builders continually stimulated and excited about showing people GDI.

So I Challenge each and everyone of you who don't have a responsive sponsor find someone in the forum who you feel could help be a good partner ask for help this what I did when got into GDI back in NOV 04.

Luckily my upline and sponsor very good and have helped out a lot but also have been very impressed with the quality of leaders in this Forum.

Fellow GDI Members my name is Howard Martell currently residing in Hawaii. I have been with GDI since Nov 04 and love the fact we have a Truly Global business of like minded people who all want the same things develop serious business builders and income for life.

The main thing is that being in business for yourself isn't easy and takes work and strict dedication and passion for helping other like minded people.

Not everyone you introduce to GDI can have that same excitement you may have but offering a caring support system will go a long way in retention and future increases within your business.

Remember the average business owner it takes a few years to be in profit we have 10.00 business which over time can bring you a substancial income.


Finallly take care your people give them the tools to be successful and always stay postive.

I Do the following contact this person intially via phone and email introduce myself show them their is support from members to  help them build their business.

Tell person honestly going to take a little time to build your business can you give me 6-12 months to show you how or less.

Wait for the answer and tell them be sending you a series of emails on some of my resources to get started don't overwhelm them with to much at one time.

Invite them to training calls and offer as incentive to pass on some of my leads for them to work and offer assistance.

Tell them they need to also be accountable to themselves and not let anyone say they can't do this business.

Finally I don't force people to stay in the business who won't work it or give any effort this waste of time for both them and I.

This idea can work it will take time.

I use direct mail as followup also if have persons name and address and their hard to reach or request information via mail.

The key is to keep it simple I use flyer and cover letter where person has any questions has my phone number or address to contact me this creates urgency.

I agree with everyones different ideas keep it simple where anyone can accomplish this simple tasks.

How about when you go to the major sporting events.

You could place drop cards on cars and in places where people frequent the most.

Another place people could use drop cards your local park and ride areas only few on every other car and place them on the drivers side having the message face towards the prospect.

The idea here is to get as many people interested as possible find out more about the person who got your drop card and finally build a business relationship with them providing tools and guidance.

I liked how you put it as we know just like a business we lose people this just fact some people just curious.

The serious people who join your business our your future leaders work with them provide them guidance and helping hand.

I also email my downline weekly remind them of any new happening within GDI.
Always include if you need any help contact me or your sponsor we do this as team your in business for yourself but not by yourself.

Give all my business builders my emai and home phone and also where we can chat on yahoo or msn to answer questions or share marketing techniques.

My retention for GDI is high because my team knows care about them and that provide them with some very good ideas on how to be successful.

Indentitfy leaders in the group and locally have my first mentoree so we working together for common goal.


Remember we our not in the recruiting business in the life changing and showing people with the same common goals how to make money from home with hard work and the will to succceed!

I Joined when my good friend John Long, contacted me said Howie you need to check out this 10.00 month business.

Since known John prior to this checked out Wow to my surprise this business was simple it took a little money and some creativity to market.

I shifted all my focus to GDI and have dedicated my time towards the business and developing leaders in my local area and also globally.

Since I joined GDI have had good results with retention. If you remember before you joined GDI you were probably just like me looking for opportunity which could make you substantial amount of money over time.

The key is to first qualify anyone who decides check out the 7 day free trial either send them a welcome letter or if possible welcome them with warm and caring phone call.

Find out why they want home business and ask them some questions examples use.

1. Tell me other than money what is another reason you would like to have successful business?

2. Do you have 5-15 hours part time to build your business?

3. IF help show you how to be successful in having home business would you give me your attention for 6-12 months?

4. Do you have any questions or concerns at this time.
