My suggestion to you, which has worked great with me, is to build yourself a blog and write about the most favorite things you like to do and share them with people. 

The important thing here is to be yourself and not be who you are not.  It is about building strong relationships and once you build relationships with people, you then become credible and people will want to learn more.

Give this a try...again, don't sell GDI, share your passions about helping people and what you enjoy in life.  Your blog will sell GDI for you and people will want a blog just like it.
