My suggestions for topics: Affordable ways to get leads-autoresponders that are good and reciprical linking instructions. Anything that is low budget.
I was robbed bigtime by the program I was in before I found this and am really having to stretch every dollar to do this.

Not only that but a site needs to change for the bots to like it for the ratings.

I used the flyer mentioned below but I scanned it and made it so that their are two of the flyers on one sheet of paper. Then cut them in half. Saves paper and the flyer is smaller. I slip them into free shoppers that sit next the the paper boxes. I also have someone that delivers papers to machines and he puts some flyers in papers for me. but he has to be carefull as he can get in trouble doing that. But the free shoppers etc are fair game!
I also save ALL the envelopes that are already paid postage. I figure that person that opens the mail "might just be sick of opening envelopes" and I put one of those half page flyers in it or a couple of business cards. Who knows? Doesn't cost much though.

I have a college an hour away-but they are very particular about any strangers wandering around because of all the student murders. So I have not yet tried to hand out or post anything there. It's the University of Florida. Bundy etc. But I want to when the classes resume.

Ok Sherri, I went and went all over your site. It is good. Very good in fact. You must know some html to do that. The only thing I would think about changing is this. The bots would like for each page to have a different name that describes the page contents. I had to go change all mine when I read that recently. In fact I had to change the site name even. I keep reading everything about how to get better ratings and change it as I find out what they say works best. but page descriptions is one of the things I recently learned about. Other than that it is a beautiful site!!!!

I know it has a very controversial hobby posted there-but for me it's really not just a hobby.
My job involves my Personal protection dog and "Hector" does ride with me everywhere I go. But I didn't put that on the site-just listed it as a hobby.
Because even if I didnt use my dogs for work and safety I would do the sport anyway as I love doing it.
Weird mix I know. But thems the facts.

I added more and cleaned up my site. Now I have 3 pages with the  2nd and 3rd still being added to. Also still researching promotion -linking-etc and will add as i find good info and sites.
I try to make the first page about introducing myself and my hobbie so people can feel they know me an little and connect. Plus I mentions GDI twice on there with banner ads and how I got started. The other pages are for suggestions and links to help with others sites. I plan to add a lot more but this is what it is so far.  Comments very welcome-suggestions especially!

I do the same thing. And my website is an introduction of me and some of my personal info and my hobby. The rest is how to market, etc with links and stuff. Each page will have different areas of marketing the site or the business. Even a page for the links to any other affiliate programs I or they might be in. And when I get the first notice someone has looked at my movie I always at the bottom of the follow up email do a PS, and this is the site I built and I am totally html illiterate. So if I can build a site-you can too. And i say, laughing is allowed, and it's not finished yet.  I think the fact that anyone can build a site is very important to marketing this business.

Has no one ever placed ads in papers and shoppers yet? There's got to be some great ideas for ads amoung this huge group of members. Fess up! Share what worked for you. Share if it didn't work too. Maybe ads in papers is a bad idea. Heck I don't know. I'm new at this too! I just want to try anything and everything-especially things that won't cost a lot to do!!

I had gotten an email from someone with the movie and the movie was captivating so I kept the email but didnt sign up. I had been ripped off and/or burned with 3 other online "deals" so was sceptical but I'd look at that interesting movie every now and then. I think I had watched it about 7 - 8 times maybe and I then went on a quest to find out all I could about GDI. I found one negative comment from an anti MLM forum. This after searching some 500 forums and information sites with GDI info on them. All but that one place had raves about GDI. So after the quest for info-I signed up. I wanted something that was wanted, needed and sellable and not a huge investment at the start up of it. I had lost a bundle on the bad online deals I'd been in prior to this-so it had to be low cost now. This looked to be just the thing and had a good reputation and a ton of happy members I read about during the quest for the bad stuff. I have been with GDI now since May 16th. and am still convinced it is just what they say, "The Wave of The Future." I plan to do this the best that I can and am trying to learn HOW to do it. I don't want to waste time or money making mistakes if I don't have too. I am riding the "wave" now. I plan to bring in as many as I can to ride the "wave" with me.
