Ninety five percent of all internet entrepreneurs fail, and that's a conservative estimate: some researchers believe it's ninety eight percent. They all fail for the same reason: they give up. There's no other way to fail in internet marketing than by giving up. The solution is simple then: don't give up!

My second advice is: don't expect anything from your downline (or from your upline, for that matter). Whatever program you're with, including GDI, you'll usually find that your downline will do absolutely nothing. It's a fact of life. A cosmic law. Same goes, probably, for your upline - at least it goes for mine.

Third advice: do not expect all of your downline to stay on. Accept that for every three new members, two old ones will leave AKA give up. Well... as long as the balance is positive, I'm alright with that.

Fourth advice: be realistic. GDI makes very few people rich, but even for the smaller fry it can easily produce a fine return in investment! Think of it this way. Say my small downline constantly hovers around 30. This means that every month I send 10 dollars to GDI, and every next month they send me back 30 dollars. That's an ROI of 300 percent! Not bad - not bad at all.

1- Quel status juridique utiliser?
2- Quels démarches fiscales doivent être prise?

I have a VERY interested lead and I wish I will not lose him.  He's from France and before to signup, he wants to know :
1- What kind of company is the most appropriate for the business?
2- What about the fisc?

Bonjour Olivier!

In order to partake in GDI, it's not necessary to run it via a company at all: "private person" works fine! As for tax: I fear that in every European country (and quite likely everywhere else too) the income from GDI falls under income tax. This is where any sort of company would come in handy, on account of lower taxes and such. I think it's best you direct your questions to your local Chamber of Commerce, they can give you a wealth of information!

I have a person in my downline had 3 domain names under her.  Will I receive just the $1 from her or will I receive $1 for each domain she has, making $3 instead from her?

You will receive a $1 for every domain name, in this particular case that's $3. Not bad, eh?!

Greetings all!

The included website maker is, I sadly agree, not the most technologically advanced specimen around. Unless you're already proficient in building websites, the thing produces ugly results but... if you're already proficient you probably use another program or editor anyway!

What I tend to advise those individuals in my downline who are serious about setting up an internet business with all kinds of imaginary options and bells and whistles, is to open a hosting account elsewhere (you can email me if you want more details), point their dotWS domain to the DNS servers of that second hosting company, let the GDI stuff run ONLY as a business with the supplied squeeze pages, and do all the serious things elsewhere.

This way they have the best of two worlds: the truly very good business side of GDI, combined with hosting elsewhere that's worth its salt. Usually I give them a replicated site of one of my own sites (of course with their GDI and other ID's in it - grin!), which works like a charm.

A last admonition: do not give up on GDI too early! You need staying power in this particular kind of set-up. For several (even many) months you may have the impression that nothing happens, or in the best case that there is a slow growth. Just let it grow... slowly. What's one more month anyway? You only pay ten lousy bucks to begin with! And then, gradually but sometimes suddenly, you see that your downliners are beginning to recruit. And oh!, the joy!, when one of them turns out to be a heavy hitter!

In short: the beginning is always very slow, but eventually a critical mass seems to be reached and then... the whole things begins to snowball!

Greetings all!

My sponsor, a bloke named Clifford Coy, might as well not exist. I often think that indeed he doesn't exist. I sent him various emails, introducing myself and asking him about his experiences, but he simply doesn't react. Bloke's dead, or at least deadbeat.

I myself make it a habit to shove the odd sign-up from myself down to one of my first level subscribers. My sponsor never did anything of the kind for me. My sponsor never did anything of any kind for me, period.

Yet my activities i.e. my downline bring him money, every month. I'm working toward making my first four levels as narrow as possible, and making the fifth as wide as I can. That's the only way I see to cut the deadbeat out of his undeserved profit. It's fairly easy too: do all your advertising and recruiting on behalf of not yourself but of worthy people in your fourth level. Sure, when one of those new "fifth levels" turns out to be a master recruiter, yourself will miss out on the income of his/her activities. But your first, second, third and fourth downline will LOVE you for it!

Anyway, I'm not too worried about any fifth level master recruiter turning up. Of my whole downline only ONE person signed up ONE other person. All the others got their sign-ups from me, either by me giving them directly to a first level subscriber, or by me advertising for them with their username. What's the lesson of this all? If your not your own master recruiter, quite likely nobody else will be!

And may all deadbeat sponsors like Clifford Coy fall victim to scheming avengers like myself (wide and wicked grin)!

For those who are even less fluent in Yoruba than myself: what I wrote was inquiring after his health, and whether his House and Family are alright, followed by the info that I am a priest of Oshoosi.

As for your questions, Oladimeji, you can contact your sponsor by email which is, or at least should be, available via your GDI back-office under "Upline". The sending of the verification forms... well, I'd take care of that as soon as possible if I were you, because in order to get your commission for anyone who signs up under you, you must be verified.

Like for Brad Kamanski, the real question for me would be "what did I NOT do (grin)?!" Factory laborer, professor of African Studies, window cleaner, fruit picker, full bird colonel in the USArmy (funny story, that!), writer of a whole pile of books, proofreader, fortune teller, criminal (just a very small one - grin!), journalist, gun dealer, gun writer, politician, bartender, chaplain, bookseller, electrician, Orisha priest, shooting instructor, Ifa diviner, photographer's model, publisher, enthousiastic traveller on five continents... just to name a few occupations that spontaneously crop up in my mind. But I'm sure there must be some things I did not do!

hey everybody am pretty much the newest guy here. i've joined these thing like 3 hours ago. and finally got tired of trying to make the site. which requires too much. wat i wanna know is how these works and how do u get pple to join it. coz most of my friends ain't interested in making websites. so where else can i get potential customers? coz if these countinues am calling in the next couple of hours. to cancel. so basically wat i need is somebody to tell me that they have gotten rich or money out of these thing. 1st of all its gonna be chargin me 10 $ just for havin it. and then even if i get a customer its still gonna be charging me 3 $ to send me the check. so assuming i get 25 bucks that means i got 12 bucks. So could somebody please tell me these is worth my time.i don't mind making the 12 bucks don't get me wrong i truly welcome extra money. but does it work.  i don't trust the other testimonials posted up on there site. i want somebody to tell me from here. aiiiight get back with me.

You've joined three hours ago and are already thinking about giving up? Please forgive me for being harsh, but I don't think you'll make it in this GDI business nor in ANY internet business, for that matter. Making a website is fairly easy with the supplied editor. Admittedly it's not the best website maker/editor there is, but it functions perfectly well for setting up and publishing your first effort.

Most of your friends, you say, aren't interested in making websites. That's not a problem at all - it just means that they're not your best target group. Which again is not a problem, because your target group is (literally!) the whole world.

I am amused at your way of counting the relationship between cost and profit (grin)! Basically you put down your monthly 10 dollars subscription as pure COST, while in fact you are enjoying (= consuming) a fairly valuable product which, IN ADDITION, offers you the option to make a buck. You should see this latter option as a long-term issue, and I reckon it's exactly THERE that you haven't figured things out sufficiently.

Long term does not mean three HOURS, but much more like three YEARS or so. By then you should be able to show a pleasing residual profit if... you invest energy and work! Give it a year, mate. Hang on, and let's talk again when that year is past. Right now you are sort of labelling yourself a failure before you even tried. Let go of that self-fulfilling prophecy, and make a slow but sure succes out of your GDI business!
