1  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Using Your Email To Passively Grow Your Downline on: June 11, 2010, 05:17:21 AM
Great post, Vincent!

Absolutely true, too....we have followed many an email extension to get
to the main website and check it out. PLUS this is called "Being a Product
of the Product". How can you expect others to want what you are
offering if you don't use it yourself?  Wink

Attrition unfortunately is an unavoidable fact of network marketing.   Many people join GDI (or any other program) and don't give it the time and effort it takes to build a business and they quit.  The key is not to take it personally, and move on.

We are fortunate to have quite a few downline members that see the big picture and are working their business daily. We aren't heavy hitters by any means, but we have achieved a level of success that is growing each and every month.  We have a system and we stick to it consistently.  The members of our downline that are doing the same thing are also achieving consistent results. Almost all of the downline members we have helped directly have stayed with us, even if they are not yet in profit. We believe the same can be said of those that our downline members are helping.   By being directly involved in your downline's success not only helps establish a positive relationship and opens up communication, but for those who are serious about building their business, they learn to do the same for their downline.   The power of duplication at work!  Grin

Be patient, and find a system that works for you and stick with it!

And all I can say is WOW!  If any of you happened to miss Valerie's words of wisdom, scroll up and read EVERY word!

Valerie you have got a great understanding of what it takes to succeed in this or any business.  You must be a terrific sponsor!  Wink

My business partner Stephanie and I have been with GDI for over a year.  It was very slow going for us at the beginning, but this summer, we found our niche and since then our growth has been sure and steady.  What is particularly gratifying for us is that we are now seeing our downline team members enroll new members on a regular basis.  This is definitely not a get rich quick scheme; this is a business that with time, effort, and consistency, will build a steady residual income, month after month!  Take your business seriously and the rewards will come.

Here's to a prosperous 2006!

Hey Cheryl,

I believe that GDI continues to try to collect funds for a few weeks after the trial period.  When the repeated attempts fail, eventually they turn orange.  We have had that happen after about 4 or 5 weeks beyond the initial trial period.

As far as downline compression, that happens farily quickly but the person cancelling must first confirm their cancellation. If you're talking about pink people, they haven't finalized their cancellation process.  If our pink people have a downline and they stay pink for more than a week, we email them and ask if they are reconsidering, and if not, to please complete the process so their downline can be compressed to an active member.

In Success,
Deb & Stephanie

Way to go Marv and Frank! Stephanie and I seem to be hearing from a lot of people about attrition the last several weeks.  Have we had some occur? You bet!  But guess what.... in July we came up with a system, advertised it, got members and have shared all our resources with them. Ever since, our downline has been growing a lot faster than our attrition. That is because several of our downline members are duplicating what we are doing, yet still providing their own unique twist.  We are thrilled to see their success; it's also our success.  We offered to give them information, the rest was their choice to take it and move forward. We are not "heavy hitters"; we're like most of you. Grin

Not everyone "gets it" and sees the big picture with GDI.  If they don't, it's ok, focus on those that want to learn and grow and always let your downline know you are available if they need you. Think of your downline as you would your children.  If you always do everything for them instead of teaching them how to do it themselves, you end up with spoiled kids.  If you give them enough information to help them grow, many will learn and be able teach others what has been taught to them.  GDI is a program for the LONG haul.  We sure hope all of you stick with it! Cool

In Success,
Deb Lane

10  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Movement of downline members and notification on: August 14, 2005, 03:17:22 PM
In an effort to motivate our purple and orange people, we want to move them under other purple/orange people to show them that spillover from their sponsors can happen and hopefully to get them to activate their memberships.  Does GDI send notification that someone's sponsor moved someone under them, regardless of their active status?  We didn't know whether or not we needed to email those that got spillover to tell them to check their back offices in addition to a notification or if that would BE the notification.  Huh

Thanks!
Deb & Stephanie
