1  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE DISCOVERING GDI? on: March 14, 2008, 04:06:26 PM
Before I came back over to GDI I was in several affiliate and Network marketing businesses. I am one of those too... What haven't I done?lol.

CSG
Ameriplan
Surveys
SFI
the list goes on and on...

I love GDI and have definitely found my home with GDI. The other companies I was with did work with minimal success I believe because duplication was few and far between. That is really what drew me into GDI was that the system GDI has is so duplicable that EVERYONE has the opportunity to succeed. This is why I will stay with GDI and build a dynasty with this AWESOME Opportunity! Smiley

Hi Marianne,

I think your website looks AWESOME!!! You have alot of Great content and it is layed out really nice. The only suggestion I would have is maybe just make your lettering a little larger. Besides that I believe you have just created a very nice money making machine.  Smiley

Great Job!!

Take Care,

Jennifer

1. Start off with sending out your Invites. Then make a committment to sending out invites daily to those you run into locally.

2. Get some of the GDI Business Cards and start handing them out.

3. Pin up some flyers locally on bulletin boards.

4. Place Free online ads, write articles, visit message boards and post some good content with your gdi website in your signature line.

5. Get a good autoresponder and purchase autoresponder leads.

6. Purchase Phone leads, call people then just say this...

"Hi, Name. How's it going? You had requested more information about working from home. What can I do for you?

Great! What is a good email address for you? I am going to send you over an email that has a link to a short video for a program that is 100% free to start making money with from home.Does that sound good?

Great! I will give you a call back after you watch the video and we can go over any questions that you may have. Talk to you soon.

Do all or just a few of these things above daily and you will see your GDI Team grow.

Jennifer:-)

I was wondering 2 things.  Number one is it okay to make up your own flyers and business cards?  What are the rules about advertising the business without the logo and stuff?  I looked at the policies and procedures, but that stuff is all in another language to me. Undecided  And my other question is I have posted a few ads on the internet for the business opportunity side of it, so I get that, but where is a good place to post on the product itself?  Do you use the classified sites as well under like services or something?  I appreciate any help, I am new at this and want to be as successful as possible!

You can create your flyers and send them to affiliates@wsdomains.ws for approval. I got a response the same day I sent them in which was Awesome!

As far as the online classifieds yes, I would just put your ad under services most classifieds have catagories like Internet, website, domains ect. Just place your ad there. I hope that helps ya.

When I have a new team member get started these are the things that I tell them to do first...

1. Contact your sponser and ask what is working for them.

2. Take some time to take a look at http://website.ws/newtestimonials/index.dhtml?src=FRDM&cookie_id=93668913304030908563567275789948831768&sponsor=YourUSERNAME&language=english this is your testimonial site. Everyone submits their testimonial with a tip. This is a Great Learning tool.

3. Read posts in the GDI Forum located in your back office at www.website.ws/members

4. Send out your Invites to your personal address book

5. Talk with your sponser about different free and low cost ways of advertising such as...

Drop Cards(GDI offers these in the back office)

Postcards

Traffic Exchanges

Free online classifieds

Working with leads

Putting your website in your signature line of message boards you contribute questions or comments to.

Placing banners or buttons on other websites

Google/yahoo pay per click

Fliers

Writing Articles

The list really goes on and on as far as different ways you can get the word out about your New GDI business..

I would have to say though in my opinion the Very Most Important thing is just Get Excited! You truly have just found the BEST Business out there you are saving people so much money and helping them make Money! What is more exciting than that?

The more you have fun and enjoy what you are doing the more people will want to know what you are doing and they will be excited too!

Make a committment to work your GDI business 1-2 hours a day and stick with it for a year. You will be very happy with your results!

I hope this helps,

Jennifer

I personally started with the invite system... sending out invites to everyone in my address book. Then I took advantage of Free ways of promoting GDI online and No or Low cost ways offline.

Just do a little bit online and offline and you will see your GDI becomes Free very quickly when you talk to everyone you come in contact with about GDI. Most of all have Fun and get excited because you are either helping people Save Money or Make Money or Both!

Have a Fun Day!

I have to say that by no means am I an internet guru or anything like that. I try to do just simple things online that don't make my head spin like free online classifieds, a few traffic exchanges(this can begin to make your head spin so I just do a couple), banners or button ads and then I throw in some local marketing like I make drop/sizzle cards through vistaprint.com and sticky notes. I keep all my ads very simple like...

Tired of living paycheck to paycheck?

For Details go to www.mywebsite.ws

Tired of the High cost of Daycare?

For Details go to www.mywebsite.ws

And as far as autoresponders go... I use to feel intimidated by them as well and never felt like they did much for my business until I found a good autoresponder. There is a small monthly fee for this but I have been very impressed with the results of it.

My motto is and will always be keep it simple. Don't make your ads too detailed you just want to arouse enough curiousity that your prospect wants to know more and will go and watch the video and you want to use simple, easy to do marketing methods so everyone on your team can do what you are doing this is what creates Truly Dynamic Duplicaton. If your upline has used complicated techniques than start a new Generation of Simplicity that is what I have done. My upline does alot of search engine optimization, ect. that stuff makes my head spin. So I decided to do simple methods that I know work and that has created a Great momentum for me and those that join my team.

I hope this helps a few out there. Just keep it simple and be consistent- Use those two things and you will be successful.

Take Care,

Jennifer Roth

My suggestion is to go to www.danijohnson.com register as a free member and take full advantage of her free archived calls. She will teach anyone how to recruit successfully with any type of lead.

Hope this helps,

Jenn
