When reviewing Posts, it is helpful to start with the oldest on each Board
and work your way forward. Many Qs will be answered and we request a
full review to avoid duplicate Posts. You can also use the Search function
as to a particular Subject.

As you are reviewing Posts, don't hesitate to Post your reply.

While this Post is directed to new members of the forum, it may also be
beneficial for everyone to realize the full depth of info, throughout the
Forum, in just 11 weeks.

That's what I did Chip and I also looked at everyone website if it was on the list of members with sites. To get an idea of what others were doing with their sites. I must say there are some truelly great looking sites at .ws now! I took a while to read alllll the posts but it was well worth my time. I learned a lot of stuff! The most important STUFF is that other members here are ready and wanting to help all the new members. That means-Dont be afraid to ask for help! There are NO dumb questions. So ask away!

I have found so many informative posts that I have spent a lot of time copying and pasteing many of them in a file. It helps me to keep everything organized for future use.

All my best,

Post by: LinB on August 15, 2005, 05:35:25 PM
My name is Lin and not only did I  join GDI today, but I have never been in a Forum before.  Which makes me a double newbie.

I know that my questions have been answered alot of times before, but it took me 10 minutes to get here so the chances of me finding the answers on my own are slim to none.

Where will I find advertising emails that work, or any other kind of advertising that works ?  (For safe list submitters, yahoo groups that I belong to etc.)

Thank all of you that respond.  You have heard the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child"  Well, my friends think that it will take a Nation to raise me.

My name is Ghislaine or Brenda.  Whichever you pronounce Best.  I am very new at this kind of work. I have a few ideas about advertising and promoting but I will check out what others are doing. I am French and live in a small village in the province of Quebec in CANADA.  Problem I have is getting all my french friends and family to understand a single word about GDI.  When GDI gets a french site, I'll be going up quickly enough but until then I'll take everone's advice and work hard at making this work.

You all seem to be a great group of people which is VERY encouraging for new people like me.  Now I have to try and set up my domain again. Nothing I've done works!
Til next time!

Hello
I am still fairly new to GDI.  I have lots of hope that is going to be a residual income for me.  I have had a rough start getting people to sign up.  My sponsor has been very helpful to me ( THANKS).  I am saying to all new GDI members here to plug into your upline and duplicate what you see that they are doing that is getting results.  I am very familiar with network marketing but why re-invent the wheel.  I live by this standard, " see it big keep it simple" I hope that all of us have a profitable business

Hello from "Sunny" CA!  I am a newbie and am reminded of that when I tried to post this!  Took about
20 minutes to figure this out!  Ahgggg!  It is frustrating but I love it.  This seems like a very special program as I have looked at about 1000 in the past month.  Won't say how much money went into
the black hole.  I would like to wish everyone success in what ever they are doing and hope to talk with other newbies to hopefully bolster my ego a little!

Have a beautiful life!

Hi,
My name is Rhonda.  Just got started last night. And guess what? Screwed up right off the bat, because the page that comes up after registering your domain name said to print the page, well I didn't.
I saved it to a folder and now it opens back up to the registration page where you put all the info. in.  So needless to say, I lost the instructions for how to get started and am totally lost!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me how to get that page of instructions back? I would appreciate that so very much!

Make it a great day,
Rhonda

Ditto that Rhonda... "Can anyone tell me how to get that page of instructions back? I would appreciate that so very much!"

I am on crappy dial up and lost connection during that time and wonder what I missed... I did not even see anything that said print this out?
I also thought it did not go through and now have two accounts >:(   ... one with a good user name and so so domain name I like ok, but the domain name I really wanted to use has my other business name as the user name and I don't think I can change it...
I wonder then, if I can close that account and still register that domain name?
Anyone know these answers?

Thanks,
Angie

Hi ! I'm markp1.  When I began using computers there were two things you were told not to ever do.  One was not to press delete and the other was not to press escape.    Since that time I have learned to save and to save often. (This was very important before you pressed exit.
Now I have the confidence to try things and then go back if they didnn't work out the way I wanted.     I learned how to use edit.
Today I am setting up my own website and even selling them.
One day I will be a web site designer and editor.  I take my time and learn step by step.  And I read and practice.  I can now use three web site developing packages.  I'm not certified but I still can do the work.  That's why  I decided to join this new      e venture !!!

Ok everyone I will do my best to grab this one by the horns and get you all some much needed help. I signed up like 4 or 5 days ago and have yet to hear from my upline. I now have 2 in my downline and I need to start their training so they don't geet discouraged and leave. I hop[e you have all received the help you have asked for. If not I am prepared to find it for you.

Let me tell you a little about myself, I am 45 and flat broke, my wife is the bread winner in my houseold as I can't find a job in my area that I could even remotely call something... anything... like a career. This is my last stop! I will make this work if it kills me and my worn out old computer. I have been into the electronics trade since 1973, I have been into computers since 1984, I have been employed as a Network Admnistrator for two Dial Up ISPs in my little rural town of Buffalo MO. Population 2700. I have been using forums that entire time and I can tell you all that within the next 12 months I will have my home computer network back up and running serving web pages and hosting web pages for my downline as well. GDI is going to make this happen! My home ws hit by lightninga few montha ago and I have managed to resurrect at least one of my old servers to get here,

I am sure you will all agree that if we are going to succeed we will have to feed on each other for a while. I have had maybe 8 hours of sleep in the last 4 days. I am so focused on this system that I have a real good idea how it works. To those of you haveng trouble logging into their Back Office... Do you remember your user name and password? I hope you do because if that is an issue this early in the game I have my work cut out for me.  ::) lol I will not abandon you unless it is beyond my control.

If any of you are still around send me a PM or contact me on MSN messenger and I will open a new topic for the beginners that even need help here on the forum. I will suggest that as for these forums before posting read the faqs, all of them. For all intensive purposes this is probably the best thing we have going for us. I have attempted several MLM ventures through the years, spent thousands of dollar and made NOTHING! ZIP! NADA! I am determined to get this done even if my upline is too busy to help now, I am sure he will be back and stick his head in. I am imagining that he is sitting on a warm sunny beach somewhere enjoying life. Dang it I want to be doing that too! So is anyone with me? Call me, email me, MSN me, set private messages to me. I think we ned to blow this pop stand and move on. I'll be waiting...

Moderator please post this one... Thank you.

Hi everyone.  I am another newbie.  Just joined today.  I am also new to having a website and have never done any internet marketing, so I need as much help as possible to figure out what and how to sell and market on my website other than this GBI opportunity.  I will be taking your suggestions on reading everything in the forum, although I'm sure it will take a lot of time.  I hope to learn and start as I'm going through all the posts.  I am internet savvy as far as being on and searching the internet.  Now the hard part from what I've seen is how to be successful as an internet entrepeneur.  All help appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you, Great to be here.

Title: Re: Suggestion for New Members...
Post by: MarkMcGimpsey on January 29, 2006, 09:50:24 AM
Hi Chip,

The only way this can be done is for your prospects to open a PayPal account online for free, and then have someone with a credit card lodge money to the Paypal account on their behalf (friend, parent, relative).  The Paypal account can then be used to cover the monthly fees, but more importantly it allows GDI to pay the new affiliate any commissions due, for example a share of the Starter Bonus Pool.

Hi Emes, welcome to GDI.  ;D Are you still needing some help?I have some great new tools I have recently found for free that is helping me brush up on my html.if you use the Firefox Web Browser they have a cool extension called Web Developer that helps a lot during debugging. The site creator tool may be enough but I reccomend the High Quality option for hosting. Contact me via PM or email.

Hi Harry, welcome if you still need help let me know.

And hello to Chris and Shawn too. Chris, you got the best suggestion possible there I suppose, I am using PayPal myself. And Shawn, promoting your page and not saying too much at all helped for me, I told my first two friends who signed up under me that I simply had a "GUT" feeling about this one. This remids me of a little saying my dad told me many years ago... It is usually better to not say anything and be thought the fool, than it is to speak and remove all doubt. The system sells itself as long as you kep following up, your friends will come around some day. They are just jealous and too proud right now to admit it by signing. Big Bubble Busters BBB   :o

Hello Glenn,
I like your attitude.. I spend most of my time HELPING MY DOWNLINES.
It is the only way forward, so keep it up...  Most people struggle when they start with GDI, or they would do If they were doing it on their own...  Your Sponsor should be willing to share their own techniques with you, it is in their best interest to help you... You should be aiming towards generating your own LEADS and introducing them to GDI and your ENTIRE MARKETING SYSTEM... Teach them how you are Marketing GDI and you can not go wrong...

Your Marketing System, use it to train your NEW MEMBERS... encourage them to take example of your Marketing System, help them to COPY YOUR SYSTEM... Not only will you be GENERATING money from GDI, you will also be making money from your MARKETING SYSTEM...  If you do not help your Downline to Market GDI something else will happen, Either they will quit, or someone else will help them and the money is theirs, not yours, and it was you who set the ball rolling...

I think you will do well with GDI with that kind of attitude, Welcome to the FORUM..

Feel free to PM me if you want any pointers, that is after you have visited my Website..
Regards,

my name is pat. i have been a member for less than 4 days and i have already signed people up with more to come. i have not spent a dime yet. as soon as friday i will start buying leeds. i find one problem with this program. there are alot  of people that, because of the business part of the domain sevice. don't want anything to do with it.  to get people to sign up. you have to direct them to an area were the first thing they hear is all the business hype. "witch buy the way the best i have seen in a long time" but, i am trying to sell a service as well. not just a business idea. i feel i would sell alot more memberships if i had had a plce to direct them that just explaind the service i now provide. this way the regular people/consumer does not get lost in the business aspect of this deal. i get alot of "i already have a job" and "this sounds like a get rich scam" there are a bunch of people that want a website of there own. yes this is true. i have 2000 contacts on the web. people i know. it would have way more of them sign up if they did not have to sit and think about the business aspect. i really believe in this company. i want to work work work it all the day long. i want to sell your service as well as the opertunity. you should have a site were i can direct people who i think would be intrested in your domain service alone. this way they DO NOT GET LOST IN THE BUSINESS ASPECT OF IT AS I AM FINDING  THEM TO BE.

i would love to hear back from anyone on this matter?

Try this to solve that problem  http://www.website.ws/YourUserName/hosting

my name is pat. i have been a member for less than 4 days and i have already signed people up with more to come. i have not spent a dime yet. as soon as friday i will start buying leeds. i find one problem with this program. there are alot  of people that, because of the business part of the domain sevice. don't want anything to do with it.  to get people to sign up. you have to direct them to an area were the first thing they hear is all the business hype.

My name is Lin and not only did I  join GDI today, but I have never been in a Forum before.  Which makes me a double newbie.

I know that my questions have been answered alot of times before, but it took me 10 minutes to get here so the chances of me finding the answers on my own are slim to none.

Where will I find advertising emails that work, or any other kind of advertising that works ?  (For safe list submitters, yahoo groups that I belong to etc.)

Thank all of you that respond.  You have heard the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child"  Well, my friends think that it will take a Nation to raise me.
Me two i just wish the village would help this child!! i like your wrighting!!

Chip I've been a member for a while and I don't have any commissions yet.  I've got a problem with this.  I don't know how to get people to be on my downline and I actually want to make money out of this opportunity so Chip or anybody else tell me what's wrong with my site so I can attract more business hits.  My success will mean sucess for all of you.  I just need a clue so I know I'm not wasting 10 bucks a month.  I've sent out 50 invite emails and nothing.  Should I be taking a different route to my success I know someone will help me hopefully so I stay optimistic......

make a simple presentation by printing important information to motivate your recruits to join like, company profile, income oppotunity, presentations and proof of your earnings or earnings of your sponsor.
also learn by heart and as fast as you can so you can share it right away to your prospects

I don't think I have a sponser. That's why everthing is difficult. When I get going I plan to help as many poeple as I can. Seems like alot of people have a hard time starting out and I believe that getting a strong team is by bringing them in and not just getting them to pawn up ten bucks.

Bob,

You do have a sponsor.  There is no way to signup without one.  Log into your Members area, click on upline from the left menu and you will see a list of your upline members/sponsors.  This business is not difficult.  There are training calls, opporunity calls, training guides, etc...

One thing you are right about is joining the right team.  So remember, as you build your team, be there for team members or they will be just as lost.  If you train as a team, you will grow and win as a team.

Frank

Well.. I joined GDI yesterday. I am german and I startet to build up my buisness. The first I made was register about 7 domains.
I only need to pay for one and the rest is free..  but they are all "real domains".
Then I writed a Text in much "Job-forums" and and and.

So..  what I want to know is if this may helps me alot. I registred all my Websites at Google ect. and hope they will be visible in a few days, weaks or something.

I am really excited of all those things I can make with GDI. My own Buisness, my own money without wasting my time on ppl who say "no, this don't work".

At least I want to appologice for my bad english and hope for a response :)

thank you and greez

Hi GDI buddy I just wanted to say that in the begining you will get some negative feed back from some of your prospects,  I also had those kind of attitudes and it  made my life a little difficult to promote GDI.  You need to read the forum and you will  get so mucho motivation from the gang at GDI that it will get you pumping positive ideas and you will see things diferent when you hear those negative feed backs.  Right now I have two sign ups and it's working out.  Not everyone will accept this offer, well they will lose out in this opportunity.   I belive that you have to work on it.  I am relax and doing my part to get GDI rolling.   Well buddy don't get discoourage be positive.   Go GDI.    Willie    God bless    8)

Thanks Chip!  I am glad that a vehicle such as GDI has come along.  I have been in quite a few marketing ventures with limited success.  I love the interaction and the face to face contact that networking can provide.  This is a little different, so I am fielding ideas on how to effectively market this product.  If there is ANYONE out there who is having success, or ANYONE who experienced growth within their first 30 days, please let me know.  Also, what are the restrictions on marketing?  Can we buy t-shirts?  Are there annual confrences?  I am VERY excited about the possibilities because this is GLOBAL!!  if you know someone, you can literally market anywhere!

Hi every GDI members,

I just resigned as a new (old) member just about 2 hours ago.

I didn't understand how it works and failed last time over a year ago and studied alot since then. So now I do really understand the works how to make it work.

I happen to sign into a program that includes GDI. I thought what the heck so I gonna give it a second shot, and that I know I can do it much better from this time on.

Yes, stick to it and advertise especially hooking it up along with other opportunities that will add up.

To your success!  ;)

Hello,
Just signed on and looking for suggestions on how best to market.  Looks like that is why others are here as well.  It does not look like it would be very difficult to generate attention for such an inexpensive service.  I look forward to an exiting venture and trust everyone else will do exceedingly well.

Hi Anthony,

If you have a start up fee for new sign ups, that is what stopping so many leads from signing up as your downline. We all want money instead of spending money.

What I use is a company that Give Money Away. That really worked for my business. I do not make any call. I signing up 2 members per day in my first week. Now I'm not counting anymore. I just wake up in the morning and check my email for how much money I made the night before. I have my own Primary company that cost $2500 to join. But not everybody that saw my business can afford to come up with the money to join. That gave me an idea. What about finding a company to finance my leads. I did my home work and found a company that Give Away Money for new sign ups. I referred all my leads to that website. They duplicated my idea and were able to afford to sign up with my Primary company. Now they have two sources of income and the rest is history. There you go. You can check it out if you need financing for your company or building you downline fast.

Good Luck

Tua

I have a question.... Since I've sign up a week ago, I've been reading everything I can in the forum, online, internet marketing books, and listen to the WS radio archives everyday at work.....

My problem... I need direction... I know what i want, am more than will to work for it, but really don't how to go about it.
If you were to put a mathematical formula and step by step instructions on how to do it to get a result, you'd probably figure it out... but for many, like myself, it would take quite awhile... Now do the same thing with a teacher coaching you... you learn much faster... And if you understand why your doing it, well, you probably never forget it.

In other words, I don't want to do this alone. Would anyone who is successful, or even semi-successful, be willing to talk with my over the PHONE with me, and help me come up with a strategy to succeed. I need the support.

I'm a stubborn bugger...and am not going to quit...but right now it's abit overwhelming..

Thanks!

Don't over complicate this program...  Simply invite people to your movie or let them view the DVD. Then collect a decision. There are many good lead sources you can use.

Merry Christmas to ALL!

I'm a newbie and just getting started. I'm using a signature line in my emails to direct folks to the WS movie and sending out invitations. I joined GDI because this company has their act together. The tools they provide are amazing!

Although I am new to GDI, I have been in networking for many years. My suggestion is to follow the suggestions of our Corporate Leaders. The system, as it is, is duplicable and that's what everyone wants - duplication. Just send out invitations to everyone you know and let the system work your business for you.  The system will do the followup for you. If someone is interested, they will contact you.

Looking forward to sharing GDI with others and let them decide for themselves... just like I did!

Thank you, Jack... for sharing GDI's movie with me!

Peg

I had gave it a half hearted try the first time.
Now with more information and simplicity of my new organization skills. (*Yeah Right":)
I have found a formula I think is working fine.
Any real new suggestions that are not snake oil remedies or downline builders that don't work:
"Please introduce yourselves"
Kind regards,

There is only one way to fail, and that is to quit. There are many people looking for the lottery. This is not a lottery. This business is simple. Invite people - followup - collect a decision. You can go about this several ways... I think the key is daily action no matter how you want to market.

Time + Consistent Action =Desired Results

Wassup James!

I'm in the DF-dub. Ag-town to be precise.

So far I have no gripes about GDI.
Right now I mainly use it for the website.

I have decided this year that I am going to work to build a team.   ;D

Holla!!

Hey James and Sdub,

I am not from Dallas but I am up north of you guys in Wichita Falls, at Sheppard AFB.
Dropping a line saying hi to my fellow Texas members. Also if you are really serious about getting your
team built PM me and we will talk.

Suggestion: For all newbies I tell you this, do not give up, in the beginning it will be hard because most likely you are a total newbie to internet marketing and have no idea where to start. So before you get on the net and start paying for a million different things on how to get going talk to your sponsors first and see what they are doing and search this forum. Plenty of ideas in here that work. And I am sure everyone in the forum will be willing to help you if you need anything. If not PM me I will help.

To everyones success.

Hi All new members and those not so new! I've been in GDI for over three months and will be here for the long haul. I just wrote this article and I hope it  is helpful to you. It is pertinent to what you are now in and may be of some help as you get started. Here it is:                              You Can Extract Success from your MLM Online Pursuit

Determination and drive are necessary for you to find success. You’ll need to organize your thoughts and ideas and set your goals before you can begin in earnest. Remember, you’ll also want to utilize your special traits and characteristics as you set up the website that you will require, in order to portray your special story and angle that only you can create. Everyone has their own set of unique abilities. Decide what your God given knowledge specialties are. Once you’ve combined your goals with the abilities you possess, you’re ready to begin the adventure.

You will need your own Domain identity, a Professional looking Website of several pages and Hosting on the main street of the Web. Sure, there are free sites but that would only put you on a back street. You’ll need to spend at least ten dollars per month to get started. There is no way to get around it. It takes money to make money. It has always been that way through history. The computer age has actually made it easier to get started in business.  Once you have set up your nice Website with your unrivaled content, you’ll need targeted traffic.

Does it all sound easy so far? If you’ve set your goals and identified your specialties, you are going to accomplish what you set out to do. You won’t get rich overnight. It doesn’t happen that way. You are going to have to be patient and not quit. Plan to stay for the long haul. It is not hard work but will require some serious effort. You’ll want to have some mentoring along the way and not jump in to every opportunity that will be presented to you. Some will be less than stellar and you will need to do some research so as not to be pulled into something that will not benefit you. That’s why mentoring is important and studying the wide selection of free ebooks and ezines that are available online. Harness yourself with knowledge as you make your way on the online marketplace.

Make sure your product or products are targeted properly. You don’t want to sell furniture to the stationary market. You can buy leads but it is best to create your own customers that are interested in your specific product. The way you will do this is by setting up an auto responder on your website. It is not really that big a job to set one up. What ever you do, start out with the free version. Until you get your business running the way you want, you need to keep your expenses in check. I’m convinced that you can operate at least initially on less than twenty dollars per month. When a year has gone by and the business is starting to bring in some income, it is ok to upgrade. The fellow marketers are going to try to get you to spend money constantly online. Stay in your budget and be careful as you built up your domain of significance.

John Sprague is presently working in Northern Iraq and will return to his home in Bellingham, MA later in the springtime. He enjoys computer work and writing in his free time. John’s own uniqueness comes from his perspective as a Vietnam Era Veteran who has spent over three years in the Mideast. He has been around computers since 1968 and has a website. He welcomes you to email him. GDI is a good product but you'll need to make some effort to make it work. I may not be your sponsor but feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance. Good Luck! John.

Welcome to the rest of your life. When people question
you about this business and if it's real, you can tell them that
this is no pyramid. The Goverment stands behind this business
because you must fill out a W-9 form with them for your
business. Have a great day.

I know the GDI program has more to offer than I am using.
I basically used this site to begin building a website which will become home base after a while. So in places it is pretty rough.  But in invite you to take a look at my work in progress as I look over some of your work too.  http://www.greening.ws

Hello to all of the rest of you who are new at G.D.I.
My name is Joseph Clark,
I have an answere to one of the questions I read here on our forum that helped me get started.I needed a credit card, and since
I do not use banks or credit of any type I had to find an answere elswhere.Simply go down to most any retailer (WAL-MART,DRUG-
STORE.etc.) and and for about ten dollars you can buy a VISA,MASTER CARD,or other that is reloadable and is good any where,
online,ATMs,stores, just the same as a credit or debit card so theres one more obstacale out of our way.NEXT!We can all do this and
do it well.Lets just all keep a positive attatude ,believe, and then take the appropriate ACTIONs nessasary to keep us moving in the
direction of our dreams and they will simply have no choice but becoming realities in each of our lives.
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING US ALL AT THE TOP! Joseph C.

Hi,

My name is Nick and I am brand new to the business.  I am English, but live in France.

I am very excited about GDI - it looks to me one of the simplest network marketing ops I have seen.

Just got sent this list of tips for generating traffic to your website and thought everyone here might appreciate it.

No. 50 is the best! ;)

1. Write and submit articles to the article directories.

One way is to follow up with everyone who comes to your website, put a form on your webpage and get your visitors to give you their emails.
So even if they don't sign up the first time, you can write to them periodically telling them how great GDI is, they will eventually join.
Statistics show that more then 80% of people will only buy from you after receiving 7 emails from you.

Hi Everyone!
My name is Sarah and just wanted to give a shout out to everyone.  I'm very new - signed up two days ago, in fact.  My sponsor has been great in helping me get started (thank you, Charlene!)  I'm very excited to start building my business.  I have been involved in network marketing and direct sales (off and on) for about two years now.  I can tell you the one thing that will bring you success (or failure) is your attitude.  The program (which GDI is fabulous one, by the way) is a vehicle to get where you want to go, but unless your mindset is in a positive place, your tires will keep on a spinning.  If you have an "attitude of gratitude" you'll be amazed at how easily things come your way.
Anyway, that's my little contribution for new members, or anyone for that matter.  That's how I try to live my life.  Looking forward to working with all of you in the coming months/years!!

Sincerely,
Sarah

P.S. This forum is awesome!

Wow I don't think I've seen so much great info in one post - I haven't been with GDI long - but looking forward to such a great opportunity.  I've ordered one of the leads packages & am excited about getting it out - as I received a DVD in the mail - watched it and fell in love with this opportunity! Already advertising my site & this great post gave me so much more info - I will be busy for a while! My husband already has people where he works interested in GDI - If anyone seriously looks at this program they can't help but see it is a win/win opportunity with one of the lowest start up cost I have seen!  Looking forward to working with such a great team!
Blessings to all,
Toni

Sorry if I jumped the gun on the initial message....oops......
After looking at many posts I still have a couple quick questions for starters.
I wanted to add a banner but the instructions were to cut and paste them . Where do you paste them ? Probably simple but I am a bit of a slowhead when it comes to this.....
Also, listing a telephone number ? Do most of you use your home phone number or do you get another line installed ? I wanted to list my cell phone but that might get real expensive. The concerns I have with using the home phone number is that if a child answers or anyone other than myself it is sure to sound very unprofessional ?
Thanks

Hi Sandra,

I suggest that you contact your upline.  You can find his/her email in the member area.  You must clic on "upline" in the left menu and you will get the names and emails of the 5 people in your upline.  That's in their interest that you succeed in the business and they should be able to give you some help on how to get started.

I wish you a lot of success!

How do i get started?  I have been doing this for a month now and I haven't gotten any support can I please get some help on what i should be doing

Joan,

My wife, Regina, and I have been in GDI for over a year.  We made a change in how
we did things in June 2007, and started to dedicate ourselves to focusing on GDI.  Since
then we have started to grow, and get new sign ups.  We saw the "Power of ONE",
and have adapted that as our goal for each month.  To date we are ahead of schedule,
and looking forward to the future.

What to do, NOW?

1.  Download the https://www.website.ws/home/wealthguide from the Home Page,
or use the link above.  If you will DO those things THEY WILL WORK for you.

2.  Set aside 1-3 hours a day, or even more to WORK. This is a FUN Job, but a job,
soon to become your Dream Job!!

3.  Forums, are frustrating, when you get started, but they will provide you with useful
information.  Just dedicate about 30 mins a day, to view the forums, and stay with it.
In about 30 days you will have a handle on the forums, and in 90 days you will know
where to look for your best advise.

4.  Web Page.  Start your web page.  Do a quick ONE page web if it's nothing more than
just a little information about you, and GDI.  Just get a feel for it.  Get it Up and Running.
don't spend hours.  Just get a piece of paper, jot down some ideas, and then get to work.
We spent days working on ours, and it never went up.  then one day, we decided to just
get one up.  Whala!!  It's Up.  We put GDI on it, and a link to the video.  Put it on our business
card, and pass them out.  We have had sign ups from that!!  TOOK too long to do something
so simple!!

Info for your web.  Download the print out, or flyer on the home page, and pull some info to use
on your page.  Then get business cards, and pass them out.  Set a number.  Ours is 10 a day!

5.  Business cards. If you want, you can get the GDI cards.  We did.  People look at them. OR you
can go on line, and pick up some of your own making.  Pass out at least 10 a day plus!!

6.  DVD's to friends.  We boght 10.  You need to do 10 to get the weekly bonuses.
Pass them out, and pick them up three days later, and take people by the hand to their
computers, and sign them up! IF they haven't already signed up.  If they say NO, then
MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE!

7.  A heart for dedication. IT WILL WORK, if YOU work it.  Work it, Work it!

8.  Advertise on the net, on every FREE place you can find.  Put in some dedicated time
to doing this.  DO IT!!  Just DO IT!!  Any one, can get a sign up a month!!!! Do 30 mins
to an hour daily posting ads on the net.

9.  TEACH!  Teach your new sign up how to do what you learn in the Wealth Guide, and
what you are learning in this post.

10.  Flyers.  Post some flyers somewhere weekly.  Put out 5, or 10, Plus a week, or daily!!

11.  Friends.  Put them in the "invite system".  Call them on the phone, and let them know
to be expecting something via email from the invite system.

Ha!  Had enough yet?  There is still more, but that is enough for now.  Just get BUSY!  It
will pay in the long run.

Dick and Regina Lewis

PS READ what you need to do for the Bonuses to qualify.

If you are using the sitebuilder, highlight the text that you want to link to the freedom site, click on the icon that has a globe with a chain at the menu.
A pop up box will appear. Key in the "Address" field your freedom website url.

I am not sure about your second question, are your referring to creating a subscription page?
If yes, then you need an autoresponder account.

If you are doing a flyer make sure to include tear aways at the bottom so people can rip off the contact info and take with them ... otherwise they will not likely remember your info.

I create my own using half sheets and place where moms and families spend time ... doctors offices, dance studios, karate, gyms, pizza parlors ... business cards are even better and look much more professional looking.

Hello to all new members!

I really liked the Lewis post.  You really do just have to be consistant and DO something.  One step at a time, when consistantly applied over days, weeks, and months, will yield amazing results.  About getting the word out and free traffic.  There are many traffic exchanges!  The idea is that you sign up to view others offers and in return they view yours.  The key is to get the exchanges that most people join.  If you want a list of ones I have found effective, send me a PM and I will share what I have learned.

To your success!
Judy Wilson

I am Andy, new to GDI/.ws and using forums.   Excuse this from a newbie, but can anyone explain what it means when an invited person's name is sent, and the response came back saying he had removed his info from the data base?   He and I were exchanging layman's info about respective companies and now I cannot send the official invitation to him.

Thanks- (been in less than 12 hours.)

Andy

Do you know if my downline can sign up without a credit card? I have a customer who wants to pay using only Paypal but says keeps getting asked for a credit card? If this is the case can they use a gift credit card, like

http://www.idtprime.com

to sign up... What can I do I have a customer wanting to sign who can't sign ???

I just joined to day, and am a nervous wreck, I'll say it now. I'm still skeptical about this whole thing. The only reason I'm giving it a go is the free trial and the fact that its only supposed to be $10 after that runs out.

I've got to pay for collage on my own, so you can see why I don't really trust the idea of another sit at home Internet Gig. But I can't seem to get a hold on a job and keep it so, I'm running out of places to turn. This WS thing seems promising and received a lot of good reviews.  :-\

If anyone has any good advice, be my guest. I'll keep reading the forums and if all works out well I'll keep it beyond the 7 day trial.

Yes I'm a new member. I posted in the Questions and Issues category and my questions were not shown. Is there some sort of rule that I'm not aware of ? Some of my questions were answered directly to my e-mail but they were not posted for others to comment. I kinda wanted more input thats why I chose the forum. Thanks.

To all who are worried and maybe even scared.. I can say GDI is the real deal and the best opportunity on the internet.. you may find other domains but you won't find a better Income opportunity anywhere..

They pay on time on the 15th of every month, most of the times early.. I have been a member for a year now and I have given up my 2nd job to do just GDI along with my main job..  and boy does this feel good..

Please pay attention here..... "this isn't a get rich quick scheme" This is a real legitimate
business and should be treated as such..

YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT

Don't give up there are many ways to build GDI..I have been blessed that my downlines are pretty much growing on auto-pilot now..

Stick with it don't give up and try new things to advertise your GDI

Hello, I am new to GDI for 2 days and I am oh getting so much information.  I must admit I am a forum junkie (you find so much information). For FREE and who can disagree with that. I am sending emails to everyone that will listen so far and nothing yet. I just hope all my information and connections are correct that I can get my commissions. No need to keep GDI a secret. Also I am a stay at home mom so this is my business....gotta get her done.

When I have a new team member get started these are the things that I tell them to do first...

1. Contact your sponser and ask what is working for them.

2. Take some time to take a look at http://website.ws/newtestimonials/index.dhtml?src=FRDM&cookie_id=93668913304030908563567275789948831768&sponsor=YourUSERNAME&language=english this is your testimonial site. Everyone submits their testimonial with a tip. This is a Great Learning tool.

3. Read posts in the GDI Forum located in your back office at www.website.ws/members

4. Send out your Invites to your personal address book

5. Talk with your sponser about different free and low cost ways of advertising such as...

Drop Cards(GDI offers these in the back office)

Postcards

Traffic Exchanges

Free online classifieds

Working with leads

Putting your website in your signature line of message boards you contribute questions or comments to.

Placing banners or buttons on other websites

Google/yahoo pay per click

Fliers

Writing Articles

The list really goes on and on as far as different ways you can get the word out about your New GDI business..

I would have to say though in my opinion the Very Most Important thing is just Get Excited! You truly have just found the BEST Business out there you are saving people so much money and helping them make Money! What is more exciting than that?

The more you have fun and enjoy what you are doing the more people will want to know what you are doing and they will be excited too!

Make a committment to work your GDI business 1-2 hours a day and stick with it for a year. You will be very happy with your results!

I hope this helps,

Jennifer

I have been with GDI for about a year now but only started doing the business since August.  This is a business and needs to be treated like a business.  Don't work for 1 month and say, "I didn't get anyone, this doesn't work".  Be consistent and persistent.  Work 1-2 hours a day at least 5 days a week and you will see results.  Come on people, where else can you have your own business, a global one, for only $10 a month??

Total agreement here.  I have been here for 4 months and it's only now starting to take off.  There is a lot to learn.  The above post neglected to mention creative advertising on social networks.  There are many out there but you have to avoid writing things that sound to "spammy".   Offer the service because many other providers have down time or limits which I have not encountered with GDI.  And my site has never been down or "exceeded bandwidth" limits.  The service is excellent!

Blogs and commenting Blogs has worked wonders for me.  Other tips below.

hello, yes i am new, i am attempting to learn this from the ground up so i can help the people i sign up, i am a little concerned about signing people when i myself cannot navigate the business, i will spend a few days to familiarize myself with the business, i don't  think this is hard at all, just unfamiliar, i wished i had a list of recommended steps to proceed with, i do feel i am fortunate as i emailed my sponser and he contacted me, very quickly, even talked on phone thanks AL, anyway this is a learning experience. I do know from previous experience with similiar ideas that many people get to apprehensive about what they may not know and become parallized.

1. Start off with sending out your Invites. Then make a committment to sending out invites daily to those you run into locally.

2. Get some of the GDI Business Cards and start handing them out.

3. Pin up some flyers locally on bulletin boards.

4. Place Free online ads, write articles, visit message boards and post some good content with your gdi website in your signature line.

5. Get a good autoresponder and purchase autoresponder leads.

6. Purchase Phone leads, call people then just say this...

"Hi, Name. How's it going? You had requested more information about working from home. What can I do for you?

Great! What is a good email address for you? I am going to send you over an email that has a link to a short video for a program that is 100% free to start making money with from home.Does that sound good?

Great! I will give you a call back after you watch the video and we can go over any questions that you may have. Talk to you soon.

Do all or just a few of these things above daily and you will see your GDI Team grow.

Jennifer:-)

I think for anyone new, it is a good idea to purchase a couple of dvd's, but a small amount, however, as soon as your business grows, i would suggest your marketing budget will grow so buy your dvd's in bulk--

Giving someone a dvd to watch at their leisure, is a sure sign up

Best of luck

Hi,

My name is Nick and I am brand new to the business.  I am English, but live in France.

I am very excited about GDI - it looks to me one of the simplest network marketing ops I have seen.

No. 50 is the best! ;)

1. Write and submit articles to the article directories.

2. Leave comments on other people’s blogs with a backlink to your site.

3. Answer people’s questions on www.answers.yahoo.com.

8. Start a blog and submit it to the 100’s of free blog directories.

9. Manually submit your website to the major search engines.

10. Optimize each page of your website for a particular keyword or search phrase.

11. Add a link in your email signature to your website. It’s a free and easy way to get a little more traffic.

12. Make a custom 404 error page for your website redirecting people to your home page.

13. Use PPC search engine advertising.

14. Add a “bookmark this site” link to your webpages.

Blessings to all,
Toni

thank you Tony. I want to purchase the 50 leads package worth $150. Can you explain me- how does the Phone verified Leads package really work? I am yet to order. What is the average conversion rate? If I purchase 50 leads, can I get atleast 5 confirmed active team members? I would be greatful, if you could give me the details. I will be ever obliged. As you know, the cost involved, I want to be confirmed about the integrity of the leads

Wishing you a lots of succes with GDI-

Great info found here in the "Suggestion for New Members" area. I had to skip a lot of whinning but I was able to get some great tips. I'm new also but I must make a suggestion. If you are new and you don't have upline support, read, read, read through the info that is listed in this forum. Try reading the post sent by the moderators and full members mostly! Some of the newbie post will scare you away from your own financial freedom. This is YOUR Business, you own it. Now work it like you would Microsoft if you were Bill Gates. He had to work hard in the beginning but he did not quit.  :-*

Thanks for the tips. I just joined GDI today. My main challenge is setting up the website so I don't even know how to use it as a marketing tool. I don't have any ideas for my site at the moment. Also, how to I place GDI information on my site. I thought prospects had to watch the 7 minute video. Will there be a link on my site that allows them to watch the video or does this only happen when I send invitation emails. Hope I'm making sense! The general plan is to focus on the marketing for now while trying to build my website. Is this the right approach?

5. Get a good autoresponder and purchase autoresponder leads.

hello steve, charles here I'm new to G.D.I. so don't get discouraged try and try again for what does'nt kill us will only make us stronger. Plus there is an up side to the fact that for 120.00 bucks a year you have purchased an internet domain with a pretty awsome toolbox to boot and don't forget the 10 eboxes. Steve do a little research on the cost of a simular package with another server and see if you can find a better deal. I've not found one yet and I have tried, so thats why I joined G.D.I. and I just consider the oppertunity to make a bit of cash an extra bonus.         BOL to You Steve  :) :)
