16  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Error with Sign Up on: October 30, 2007, 06:13:38 AM
Hello!

I have a member in my downline who may have inadvertently signed up one or two new recruits under the wrong access code. Is there anyway that can be fixed to the correct code under her, or is that a done deal???

Need help ASAP!

Thanks,
Michael Ray.

Hi Michael,

I am not sure but I think they will have to cancel
their accounts and then sign up again, now using
the correct access code.

But to be sure, please, ask GDI support.

Have you noticed that shipping costs for DVDs for people
overseas has dramatically increased?

When I ordered my DVDs back in November 2006 I paid
$58 alltogether which was ok. But if you want to order them
now, it goes over $100 which is outrageous.

This is a big turnoff for people from outside of USA to order
their DVDs and qualify for weekly bonuses.

Can someone explain why the price of the shipping has increased
so much? I order goods from Amazon.com on a regular basis
(DVDs, books, CDs....) and I pay $20 top for shipping and handling.

Hey Gang:
Tom St.Croix here. I just signed up, maybe not much more than an hour ago. (Still "exploring", so far.) I've read a few of these posts, here. Sounds like a pretty interesting and friendly bunch of people here. BTW, I'm another "Canadian", in Windsor, Ontario. (That's just accross the ditch from Detroit, for anyone not familiar with the Geography.)
I'm really a sweet & lovable kind o' guy, so I hope not too many o' you're gonna be throwing rotten vegetables, etc. at me. Right at this moment, I'm looking just above this area where I'm writing this, and I see a tab labled, "Change Color". So I'm assuming this is an "American" company. (Otherwise you would've known how to spell "Colour" - LOL)
I'm not sure of what else to write here, other than something like "Here I am!"
Thanks for allowing me to babble, and let's all have some fun. Who knows? Maybe we'll all become "Multi Millionares", eh? (Hope I spelled that right.)

Tom

Hi Tom,

just wondering--wanted to get another domain and wanted to sign up under myself just wondering if I could.

As far as I know, Anthony, you can have up to 5 domains per one account.
No need to sign up again to register a new domain.

thanks for your input. That's exactly
what I do. I track all my advertising campaigns
and I focus on ones that bring results.

Hi Everyone,

Though you have answered the original question that has been posted I would like to add  a caveat to think about;  When and who do you move the new members under?

This is a question I am often asked by my organization.  The best answer I have is that moving people under others is a great benefit BUT I also feel that we should have more than the first 7 days when they signed up to choose the person we want to put them under.

Other companies that allow placement changes give you up to 60 days to make that decision.  This is important and I think that all of us should request this of the company.  The reason I feel so strongly is that more times out of ten when members place others under someone they remove the accountability to work with the new individual.  This down right reeks!

Just look at the posts under the subject - what if my upline, etc.  People are dumping people under others so that they do not have to feel responsilbe to those people that they sponsored and dump thing like training etc. onto the new first upline sponsor in the lineage.  Then the problem of not hearing from my sponsor comes into play.  When the person finally learns how to navigate the backoffice and they view their upline list they contact the first person in the list who does not even recognize the name of the person because they did not personally sponsor them.

Back to the issue of moving our downline.  I have always let my immediate front line that I have a few new people and I will place them under the first ones that personally sponsor a person and then I will match that with placing my new person in their organization.  When I do move a member I send an email to the member that I placed the person under and tell them they need to CALL and introduce themselves.  If I learn that they are not doing this they will never get another placement.

A whole lot of ranting, but I hope I have made sense to most of you.

Your Partner In Success,
Marvin Drobes - The "EarningCoach"

Marvin,

I agree with you 100%.

We should have more time than 7 days
for moving members.

Hi,

It may be due to spam filters.
Many mail servers have installed
spam filters nowadays.

23  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Different Mailers - Scam Or Not? on: October 07, 2007, 02:59:03 AM
In reference to your comments on different mailers, try to remember that these are bulk mailers. Regardless of what your subject line is, or the content of your email, it will 99% of the time go directly to an email clients junk mail folder due to it's status as "BULK MAIL". Unless the addressee reads thier bulk mail, it will never be read.

I also use some of the bulk mail services but do not concentrate on it due to the extremely low rate of positive results.

As for the question you pose in your subject line, "Scam or Not?", the jury is still out on that one. There are some outfits that actually send all the mail it says it will, and some who don't. I have my preferred choices, but only because I've found that they do actually deliver the mail - still the return on investment is too low to make these kinds of outfits recommendable.

Best of Luck!

Thanks for your input. I am just wondering
if they really deliver emails or not.
I have noticed some response
from Gpro Mailer and Pay Pal Power
Ads Mailer, but absoulutely
no response from others.
That's made me think they
might be scams.

This is by no means my only way
of advertising. I stick to ones that work
and bring real results.
I was just curious if these mailers will bring
any clicks, that's why I bought them.

Hi guys,

I would like to hear your opininon about different mailers
that appear on the net these days.
I have tried most of them:

1) NEW YAHOO MAILER;

2) GALLACTIC BLASTER;

3) PAY PAL POWER ADS;

4) GMAIL PRO;

5) 5 STAR SUBMITTER.

6) SUPER GROUPER that supposedly submits to Yahoo Groups, MSN Groups, Google Groups.
(I am still testing this one..)

As I track my every advertising campaign, I have noticed almost
no results from all these mailers although I advertise a good
ad with a catchy subject line.

I would like you to share your experiences about these mailers.

I m getting several hits to my web page and find several of the same addresses hitting several times in a day but I have yet to get a person to sign up under me, is this normal activity?  I have joined as well as people I have spoken to directly. I have done about 2200 invites on several past months and only 11 even opened the e-mail.  I had no way to call them because they are working varied shift or spent with family times or annoyed during meal times.  Leads came from several lead companies I see not worthy.  I gave my business cards to the people in person.  They said "oh, sucks, you are scammer".  I tried to convict them if they want home business, period.  They threw my GDI business cards away. I need help. I will never make any money doing this , but I am sure I believe in GDI.   I guess people are skeptics not to accept any email about home business from internet or from me in person.  How can I find right persons who want home business?  GDI Postcards are out of questions!  DVD is useless because they left DVD on their desks more than one or more months?  They have never read e-books in their computers I have a hosting server with several informed messages.  They said "no time" all the times.   I am a very serious!  I need a big help!  Let me know by email.  Huh Embarrassed Undecided Cry ShockedHELP!!!!!

Ann,

You should target other network marketers. Create a lead capture
page where you will give them something of value for free
in exchange for their name and email address.
Start advertising in safe lists and traffic exchanges,
and if you can afford once in a while, buy a solo ad in ezine.

I assure you that you will see a big difference!

26  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Leader Boards on: October 01, 2007, 02:20:39 AM
Hi Everyone! If you refer someone then put them in under one of your downline members does it still count as persoally referred for the Leader Bonus?

I referred 5 put 3 under one of my referrals that I am helping. I bought my 10 DVD's and I am STILL NOT being shown on the Leader Boards!

What can I do or does it take a while??

Thanks! Kristy

Hi Kristy,

If one of your newly signed up affiliates chose
to pay by bank wire here is what happens:

While this affiliate does count toward your
total affiliate members for the bonus he/she
will not cause you to appear on the potential
Leader Boards, once we have secured payment
from the affiliate however you will appear on
the confirmed leader boards with the correct
number of sign ups listed for your account.

That happened to me last week.

Hello - U R G E N T !

My language is Portuguese, because I'm brazilian. Isn't my fault. And I like this!
I understand English and Spanish, but is very difficulty for the people in my country.
They want, and need, a "virtual office" with a familiar interface, maybe in spanish or in
our own language, brazilian portuguese. What GDI thinks about this problem??
Global Domains International is in 180 countries, but 90% of .ws is in english!!! Why???
Please, make the "virtual office" in two or more language versions. Give us more options!
I waiting a profissional answer. Thanks and best resgards!

I agree with Flavio, back office should be in more
languages.

Ok I have a question I recently joined GDI and today I got my 7th sign up. I have been in contact with my other downline people and teaching them the simplest ways to promote the business. When they start getting people under them will they show up on my downline as level 1 ?
I am confused lol...let me know someone thanks!

Christy

Christy,

When your first levelers start signing up people, they will
be placed in your level 2. When second levelers sign someone,
they will be placed in level 3 etc.

This topic is to help the newly joined GDI members who hail from developing countries or underdeveloped countries.
Please advise new comers ,how to start building their business or the ways to promote the business worldwide.

Create a lead capture page and start advertising it.

What Is A Lead Capture Page?

It's simple really, A lead capture page is a simple website designed
with ONE course of action...They are fast loading, visually appealing
one page websites that vividly describe the benefits and features of your
products or opportunity.

The purpose of a lead capture page is to entice your visitor to enter
their personal contact details to request more information about your
offer.

Avoid using generic lead capture pages cause everybody is using them.

Make one of your own that will attract people's attention
on traffic exchange programs. Give something of value
for free in exchange for people's name and email address.
Then follow up with them.
