It's a great start.  Add some pages so visitors have a reason to stay longer. :-)

Your website is totally hip.  I would surely want more information if I wasn't an affiliate already.  Good luck, I'll be paying attention and taking notes.

Hi everyone.

I have a new website I would like to show you.

Some things to point out.
You may notice that I do not promote GDI as a business opportunity on the page nor do I include any links.

I thought about this when creating the website, most people when they sign up for a home based business do not care about the company, how good the product is or how much money the company ceo is making a month.

All they want to know is. CAN YOU HELP THEM MAKE MONEY.

With that in mind I came up with a simple two page website that I am going to use to generate my own leads.

I need your opinion on this

http://www.gdisuccess.ws

One thing I do have a problem with. I can build sites, but I'm terrible at getting traffic! Would love some help

Interesting.  My feeling was that it is a little cluttered, but interesting.  Not bad.

OOHHH I'm probably going to get slammed for this, but...

If you are going to have your site in English, you need to use proper grammar and not use "chat lingo" such as u instead of you and btw instead of by the way, etc...  There are many programs that will underline improper grammar and misspellings.  This is one of my biggest pet peeves, so I couldn't read anything past the first page.

If you're in a forum like this one or in a chat room, that's fine, but not on a website.

If you need help with the English language, there are website development people out there who can help you put things in the proper form to look professional.  You are wanting to portray a professional image and your site layout looks GREAT, but when you start reading, ouch.

Just my opinion.

So much to learn in so little time. Anyway I tried to implement what I have learned about websites. Focus on "you" (the visitor). Keep it profesional looking but keep it focused with out too many things to distract the main reason for the site's existance. Keep it personal, build relationships, no corporate language that puts people to sleep. You all are familiar with websites and GDI but please try and look at my site like you are just starting to look for a home based business. Could you answer these questions?

1) Is there enough information given to get you interested enough to click on the banner for more information (this relates to Page 1)?
2) Is it too simple so that it looks like an amerature did it? I am one but thats beside the point, eh!
3) Does anything jump out as being a violation of GDI's terms and conditions?

If you have any suggestions I appreciate the simple ones. Just kidding, any feedback is a benefit.

I am a professional mechanical engineer. Mechanical engineers are sometimes called "Gear Heads." Point being: I am not a professional website builder or computer programmer. There is a learning curve. If you want to pray for me that will be fine too. Thanks for your time my friends and colleagues.

Regards,

Mark

Hello Mark!
First, congratulations for accomplishing a website!! It's an excersize in patience (for us newbie, un-webbers) isn't it? I'm by no means an expert on it, but have spent MANY hours clicking on others websites to see what's out there. My only real suggestion is to make it a little more personal (i.e. a picture of yourself, family, etc) to make it more inviting for others to see that "it COULD be ME" doing this. I think if you just put more of your personality into what you say, it would take the "mechanical" part out of it! Overall: well done & to the point. AND I AGREE about the spellcheck!! Best of luck to you, Katie
