1  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Getting Paid Up to the 5th level. on: August 31, 2008, 03:28:31 PM
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the business and would lilke someone to answer me clearly.

I understand that I'm getting paid up to my 5th level.  My question is: For example: I put 6 people on my first level. Out of these 6 people only 1 really gets successful and does all the five levels 6 adding 6s. At the end of the five levels this successful person is making $9330. Now, will I get all the $9330 that the one successful person makes as well? and will my upline get all that $9330 as well?   Please someone with an understandable straight answer.  Thank you very much and I hope all of you are making lots and lots of dough..... Roll Eyes Grin

If you had that one person on your 1st line bringing in 6, who bring in 6, etc. all the way down to Level 5 - you would be making $1554 from that particular leg - because although THEY have filled out to their own level 5 and are making $9330, that would be level 6 in your own downline. But, $1554 a month in leveraged income that someone else is bringing in for you is nothing to shake a stick at!

Hope that helps Smiley

Does anyone (Chip?) Wink know approximately (I realize it grows by leaps and bounds daily) how many GDI'ers are out there on the planet earth?

Just curious!

Happy Thursday everyone Smiley

3  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: .WS is a 21st Century Fundraiser, long-term... on: August 29, 2008, 11:55:29 AM
Wondering if anyone has gone further with the fundraising as it relates to church organizations? I had been mulling this over in my brain for a couple of weeks when I drove by one of the many, many churches in my area and noticed that their website (listed on the sign in front of the church, you know, the one where lots of churches put scriptures that change each week?) anyway, their website is actually a .WS site! I poured over it looking for some sign that they were using it to raise money but couldn't find anything.

I really love the idea in the post a couple of years back of using the main organization's site to host 'bricks' that would link to sites of individual members...

Also, for a church community, even a medium sized one like my own, I think one way is to literally just 'do the math' in a one-on-one meeting with the decision maker. So, say there are 1000 families enrolled in a church, parish, etc., and they were able to get somewhere in the range of 20-50% participation in the fundraiser.

If you show them exactly how to achieve the fabulous bonus offered by GDI (i.e. make sure they sign their members up in groups of 5), at 20% participation, they will bring in $4,000 in bonus money right away, plus the ongoing $200 a month...at 50% participation, it's $10,000 in bonus money, plus the $500 a month residual. WOW.

Yet another wow - how about a fundraiser that allows people who participate to start generating their own income from it, while helping the organization even more? Show me a Sally Foster or Scrip or candy bar sale that can do that!

4  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Eastern USA on: August 02, 2008, 09:05:17 AM
I am from Michigan and I am excited to have my 1st free trial member! Yeah!!
She has a question too! She said she paid through paypal but it will not let her send emails to people about the business. Is there anyone who can tell me why? or if they know anything about that. I don't understand why she can't start advertising if she paid-she is trying to see if she can get any activity.
Thanks Tracey

Hi there Smiley I might be able to help you with that - if paypal is set up to deduct from someone's checking account, it will do that as an "e-check" which is not deducted right away. The system can't tell the difference either way, so until it's been paid, the person's GDI account will show up as not paid yet and they won't be able to invite anyone. That's what happened to me Smiley I just switched my account over to a credit card to fix it, but check with support for other ideas.

Hope that helps!!!!!

All the best,

Amy
