31  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Hi to all on: December 27, 2006, 10:19:49 AM
Seasons Greetings to everyone at GDI!!

My name is Gary Partridge and i just became a GDI member.

I'm looking for GDI members to network with in the Virginia or Wash. D.C. area. Would anyone care to assist me in my getting started period?

Thanks and Happy New Year..

Gary

My advice is to read everything in your back office and get familiar with this company. Then get busy inviting people.

Just signed up about an hour ago and I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight... very excited at potential...  this is network marketing at it's best... or maybe the time was just right for me.  I've sat through hours of newtork maarketing presentations and always wanted to join, but never had time to work on it with integrity.

I joined this in under an hour of research - and if I would do that - I KNOW others will.

Now... take action! Cheers.

I had gave it a half hearted try the first time.
Now with more information and simplicity of my new organization skills. (*Yeah Right"Smiley
I have found a formula I think is working fine.
Any real new suggestions that are not snake oil remedies or downline builders that don't work:
"Please introduce yourselves"
Kind regards,

There is only one way to fail, and that is to quit. There are many people looking for the lottery. This is not a lottery. This business is simple. Invite people - followup - collect a decision. You can go about this several ways... I think the key is daily action no matter how you want to market.

Time + Consistent Action =Desired Results

I've reviewed several sites here...

My advice would to be careful about the content and limit exchanges, free links and such. I think it takes away from your site when this is done. Many sites look so busy it's confusing to the viewer. If anything - use nice looking banners on a dedicated banner page or links page, but not your home page.

To your success,

Alan

Don't over complicate this program...  Simply invite people to your movie or let them view the DVD. Then collect a decision. There are many good lead sources you can use.

Next time tell him/her that they are right and move on to the next person. Don't waste energy on some negative person. DO NOT CONVINCE PEOPLE.
37  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Calling all Australians on: December 19, 2006, 02:55:33 PM
G'day,
I'm seeking advice from other "successful" Australian GDI members.
Australians can be very skeptical about online endeavours (and nearly everything else!) they show they are interested in the concept and read all the material sent to them and they still remain reluctant to commit, what I really want to know is have you had much success in signing up other Aussie members and if so, from your experience what is the clincher that really sells this great package to other Australians?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Ros

Not an Aussie here (US)  but it sounds like you experience what we all experience. Simply move on and find the right people. Do more numbers, Get more NOs...

39  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: Upliners - help on: December 19, 2006, 02:55:33 PM
Hi everyone. I'm Lesley, I joined GDI a week ago. Does anyone have the same problem that I have?
My 7 day free trial ended yesterday, but I have not been able to do anything, because I am unable to contact my upline. I was told, when I signed up, that the upline would contact me and help me to get started. But that hasn't happened. I can't get hold of her by email.
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions? Please.
Lesley.

Lesley,

Everything you need has already been sent to you from GDI. Upline or no upline  - it doesent matter. Take responsibility for your business and don't focus on your upline. Do I think they should contact you... yes... but think about it. It really doesn't matter! Simply invite people to watch your movie.

How is a FREE trial and $10 per month after that a BIG mistake?

This is simple. Read your backoffice and invite people. Simple as that.

Take responsibility for yourself... This is a very simple system. Know what you have and take action. What if my upline never contacts me...   SO WHAT.
42  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: Do you move your downline members? on: December 04, 2006, 02:29:34 AM
GDI does not use a matrix. It is a 5 level unilevel comp plan and more when you qualify for the addition comp plan adds.
