16  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: DVD Full Preview... on: March 02, 2007, 03:11:51 AM
Ok, I am in search of the full information of the DVD. I know I read it somewhere but am looking for all the "rules" that go along with this Dvd.

1. The freedom .ws site has "request" a "free" DVD from your sponsor. "Sponsor" means myself...but I am a sponsor when they are in
their "7" day "free" trial or I am a sponsor after their "7" day "free" trial OR I am a sponsor to any and all who "request" a "free"
DVD???...Just wondering because people DO like "free" things...lol

2. Now, when they are requesting their "free" DVD...is this request going to the e-mail address that we originally used to sign-up? If yes,
can we get it switched to one of our .ws e-mail addresses???

3. In order to receive "bonus" money you need to have purchased at least one DVD? Is this the same for regular commissions?

4. And finally, if we do not send a prospect the DVD and someone in our up line does...than that prospect goes to the up line?

I just want to get it straight for the people I talk to. I like putting everything right up front...nothing hidden... Smiley

THANK YOU!!!

Kathy

1. You are the sponsor when they sign up on your page.

2. Emails from GDI to you are sent to the email address you have on file. This can be changed by you in your members area under account info.

3. You must have purchased at least ten (10) DVDs through your GDI account and your account must be paid and in good standing. Regular commissions are paid whether you buy the DVDs or not.

                                       Purchase 10 DVDs

Testimonial - provide a short testimonial about GDI's opportunity and/or product to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws along with your permission to use it on our testimonials WebSite.

Promotional Tip - with your testimonial, include a promotional or sponsoring tip that will help other affiliates duplicate your success.

Photo of yourself in JPEG (.JPG) format - attach a photo of yourself to the email you send to ws_testimonials@wsdomains.ws.

The .WS email address to which you would like your winnings paid through PayPal

4. The person will sign up under where they are directed. The DVDs are designed for you to place your ID on the package so the prospect has an ID to use. Thus being placed direct to the person with the given ID.

My personal thought on this is to get your 10 DVDs and hand them to people you know or meet locally. Then reuse them after your prospect watches it.  I do not promote the generic Freedom.ws website. No need. You can send them a link via email to the complete DVD movie.

I have been trying internet marketing to no avail.  I am going to try the business cards and flyers and also calling friends and prospects.  So far I have no one Sad but im not giving up yet

Take daily action. Talk to people, drive them to one of your GDI marketing sites then collect their decision. Stop "TRYING" and take daily action. The terminology you used above seems like you aren't really committed - I could be wrong, but it might help if you had a better attitude.  Fire yourself and make TODAY your new start.

The only way you can fail is to quit. Never quit.

Cheers

18  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Prepare yourself for unnecessary scepticism on: January 28, 2007, 08:12:29 AM
I just wanted to share one thing i do when i show someone the dvd...In a physical world, many of the people you know or are promoting to will be sceptical about the opportunity confusing it with illegal pyramid schemes.
If you as an individual personally do not face it, maybe one of your team will! What i have done to counteract this scepticism is print out independant articles from the internet that explain network marketing, mlm and the difference between them and pyramid schemes.
I always tell people i understand their scepticism and i was the same which is why i did my research and found X amount of articles that describe it as (while showing the articles) "the franchising revolution of the 21st centuty" etc etc.

One thing i have also done is create a website that can educate my guys about network marketing and help them counteract scepticism.

Obviously this relates more to the physical aspect of network marketing but I have found that this was the biggest drawback with my friends and family who are the people you would want on board the most!
I hope you will find this is a helpful tip and can use it to build a succesful future!
To your financial future,

This is all fine...   but the best way to handle these people is DO IT and NEVER quit. Become successful yourself.

I would not waste time and energy on trying to CONVINCE people... No matter who they are. Take it away from them and Move on.

Cheers
19  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Most Effective way to recruit on: January 27, 2007, 05:06:05 AM
I want to know also the effective way to recruit people on this business. What kind of strategy of marketing your using to get sign up and convince people tat this business is for real and not a scam.

Thanks,
Julius

Take massive action... Talk to people and collect a decision.

DO NOT CONVINCE
people to join. Let them make an educated decision on their own. Have them review all of the information. If they review everything and think GDI is a scam...  MOVE ON, Do not waste any more time & energy. People have a right to remain ignorant if they choose.

There are too many other good people waiting to hear about GDI. Just go find them.

Cheers

Hi George how are you doing.  My name is William and i have been in GDI for over 7 months now. I just want to know if you could give me some tips on how to get some sign ups   I have been posting lots of ads and clasifieds in traffic exchange  But the results are very poor.  I only ave 4 sign ups. and like 4 quit after 2 months in GDI.   Need some advise.   Take care ...William Cool

Work the numbers. The right people show up. DO not convince anyone. Try talking to people.
21  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: What would $1 a Day do for YOUR GDI Business? on: January 19, 2007, 03:41:20 AM
EXCUSE ME!

But wasn't the whole idea to make some money with GDI?
Do I have to cut out everything that makes my life worthwhile in order to get GDI going by spendiing money on 'iffy' propositions?

That's not what the ads say.  They say No Selling.  Well, if I have to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of other programs (ie. $150. per mo. recommended by PIF4P), to get a downline, then I say, no way Hosay! (My apologies to those Spanish speaking people here, I know that's not spelled correctly).

Anyway, let's try to get our GDI downlines without having to spend, spend, spend!

If anyone has any ideas on how to get those e-mail addresses without having to spend, let me know.

Interesting comments...  Based on your comments - I would say to start with a change in your expectations and your attitude.

With GDI or any business YOU need to have a marketing budget to promote YOUR business. I STAY away from systems like the one you mentioned above for several reasons, but you need to do some kind of marketing. You do not NEED to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of programs, some people do and thats OK. I think you will find that as you move away from a POVERTY mentality and you start making money that you will spend more on your business naturally, and this it chalked up to a simple cost of doing business. Think about it - If you were opening a traditional business... Would you have front end and ongoing expense - YES. $100-$200... to me thats cheap rent. FOCUS on What it will take to "break even" then make money - instead of - what is this costing me. If you were spending $50-$100-$200 or more on simple marketing tools but you were making those amounts or more - breaking even then it's simply a wash while you build your business, but You have to take the actions necessary to get yourself there. Front end load your EFFORT.

Take a close look at YOUR DAILY ACTIVITY and you will find the answer.

I mean this in the right way...   STOP BEING CHEAP and START taking action. If you have a "$0" budget for marketing then you have to decide what YOU are willing to do to make up for that. You will have to make up for your lack of marketing budget in EFFORT- Sweat eqity. TALK to lots of people. Invite them - follow-up - Collect a decision (a YES or a NO is perfect) - Then REPEAT the process. Get creative & be here long term... you will have success.

Spending money to promote YOUR business is not a bad thing. It is simply a cost of doing business.

I have purchased 50 leads, and not one person responded or signed up, has anyone actually purchase leads from GD! and had anyone signed up?

Alicia

It's all a numbers game - 50 leads is not very many...  Let me ask...  How many of these leads have you talked to? (0?)

You need to have a follow-up process of some sort. Multiple exposures with personal contact. Get with someone who is having success (working GDI)  in your upline and ask what they use for follow-up.

Work your leads - Never throw them away -  It's all about building relationships and timing. Oh yea - My experience is that you must take action DAILY to see results.

The only way to fail is to QUIT.

23  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Business Cards - Which design? on: January 11, 2007, 12:43:18 PM
Hello,
If I understand this correctly, based on what I read in the forum, the new card sends the potential customer  to the site that asks if the person wants a DVD.  Then YOU get billed for it.  That looks awfully financially risky to me as someone who is just starting with this.

But if you don't agree to pay for it , the order goes upline.  That would mean that somebody else would pay, but they'd also get the customer.  So your recruiting effort has been wasted as far as your own downline is concerned.

I can see that a successful upline person could afford to pay for all the requested DVDs, but I don't think most beginners are ready for that expense.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.  This is what I understood from reading other posts in the forum and it appears to be accurate.

Buying DVDs and business cards are hardly a financial risk.

If you like the cards - Buy them - If you don't like the cards don't buy them, but you need to promote YOUR business to have any success. FOCUS on production - you control your activity.

Hi Chip,

We use the thumb-up as a big part of our Australian culture! This opportunity is like everything available in the world with the same amount of effort and determination required to make it happen. If one secured a corporate sales executive job/consultant for example, they would be doing exactly what you describe as the path to success anyway. To secure the high paying position, the person has put in the hard yards and gone the extra mile already. It isn't a mystery how one becomes successful. GDI offers someone like me the chance to utiilize my skills and learn new ones. I have to 'believe' in something whole-heartedly to be credible. I do believe GDI is simple to comprehend, easy to set-up and different to any other network marketing 'gig'. All others require you to buy expensive, imported (from the US products) per month to stay in the game. Most Aussies don't like that, I don't either. We also do not go for hype, as we learnt it isn't the reality here. There is some hype with GDI, but it is low-key and gives you the freedom to make your own mind up with the 7 day trial. It is Day 3 for me and I am absorbing everything at my pace. It is another key to success, I believe!!!! Cheers, Deborah

Well Said.
25  .WS Business / Training / Re: GOODNESS--Where do I start? Part 1 on: January 07, 2007, 12:37:13 AM
I just signed on for the trial, and I don't have any emails that I can invite.  I know for a fact that my mom wouldn't go for it she doesn't do internet stuff like this at all.  So what do I  do then?  How do I get emails to send to? HELP ME PLEASE! Huh

Talk to people. Promote your business. Invite - Followup - Collect a decision - Repeat.

Word of mouth - Classifieds - Telephone - Email - Web Searches - Buy Leads - Local advertising - Flyers - Business cards - The list goes on...   If you want to succeed here it's no different than any other business. You have to get the word out. If you do not take any action. Nothing will happen. Nobody will build it for you.

26  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: Targeting YOUR GDI Sign-Ups on: January 02, 2007, 09:39:41 PM
One more thing I've noticed on the forum, is a lot of newbies haven't heard from their respective uplines. This is where it will all fall apart for everyone. If you were starting a new job, and noone told you what to do, how long would you last? These people need support and encouragement. If you want your busniess to grow faster, get your new members working for you. It will take way longer to build if you are building it one member at a time on your own. Use the power of duplication to your advantage, and teach your prospects to do the same, and watch it take off!

#1. I believe you as an UPLINE should be available to your downline.

That being said...  The people who join here do not need hand holding, and if they do they should go elsewhere - They need to take time, read and understand this system. This system is SELF explanatory and is very simple. The people who cry about upline should focus on their own activity. Take responsibility for their actions or lack of action. Usually LACK of action is the reason people do not have the results they want.

If you are reading this... DON'T camp out and cry about UPLINE. Take action and respopnsibility, build YOUR business. Watch the video - Read the website - TAKE ACTION.

INVITE - Follow-up - Collect a decision - REPEAT
27  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: Most Effective way to recruit on: December 31, 2006, 07:31:55 AM
Hello I am new to the GDI family, and plan on launching my campaign in janurary. I first would like to thank anyone who responds to me with helpful advice. I am very motivated to start gaining members but i need some specific answers. Can a few members please answer these two questions that i have. They may be redundant, but it is very important to me, in order to be succesfull for 2007. Thanks

1.  What is the most effective way for me to market to the public. I was thinking about placing flyers on cars? Would you recommend that, or is there a more effective way or place.

2. For anyone who honestly has over 500 people in there downline? What did you do to achieve your success, and GAIN YOUR MEMBERS!

thanks
stan Grin

Your questions are loaded...  The quick answer - Take Massive Action!

Fliers on cars... No - I would never do this. How do you feel about getting a flier on your car? Personally I hate pulling a flier off of my car. I think it is very unprofessional - Creates a poor image of you and your company.

You will have to experiment like everyone else does... Not everyone does the same things. What are you willing to do? What type of marketing budget do you have? How much time can you work?

No matter how you choose to market - Keep it simple. They key is to take ACTION - Don't wait to get ready so you can get ready...  Start talking to people.

INVITE - Followup - Collect a decision - REPEAT
28  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: I need help to Convert Trials and Inactive Members to Active on: December 29, 2006, 06:40:05 AM
Hello,

I am getting a ton of people that sign up and do their trial period but no matter what I do I can't get them to activate. I contact these people and I have even offered to pay even pay first months $10.00, I have done a newsletter and I have offered a contest of $100.00 to new affiliates that activate their accounts and not one thing I try has gotten any of them to follow through to activated.

I have put a help page online, given them training materials; I have even moved members under them. I am at wits end with it and was wondering if anyone has other idea's that are not already posted in the forum because I have read everything already posted.

I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give me.

Thanks,
Julie Whitmire

The right people will activate. Move on. You provide help and support for those who show up for class.
29  .WS Business / Team Building / Re: Build a SOLID team and retain them! on: December 29, 2006, 06:39:16 AM
Hi David, My name is Ruel just to introduce myself. I like the topic and i really think that the information you provided was useful. I am a newbie to this business could you or anyone give me advice on how i can advertise to get maximum leads. There are so many programs out there Instant buzz, List Builder even sites that promise thousands of visitors to your site for a small fee. I was considering the thought of the GDI phone verified leads. Could you give me some insight as to how to proceed from here?

First -  Know your budget and define what you are willing to do to market this program. TEST TEST TEST...  find an ad that caught your eye and test it yourself. I would not spen a ton of money on "PHONE verified leads" - Any lead is good. It's all about timing.
30  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: How long does it take to... on: December 27, 2006, 06:45:47 PM
Hi Lynda:

Drip campaigns are friendly little reminder e-mails.  A person has to be exposed to something
6 to 7 times to take action (like a dripping faucet).  From my website, I give away free stuff
to capture information (name, e-mail address) and then put people on a drip campaign.

All I have ever wanted from people is to just SEE the GDI Flash Presentation (the 7 minute
one).  First e-mail they receive, probably gets deleted (Sunday, don't want to do any
work.  Second e-mail from me also probably gets deleted (busy, life gets in the way).  About
after 5 to 7 e-mails someone responds.  They either remove their name from my mailing or
take a look at the GDI Flash Presentation.  My e-mails are short and create mystery so the only
way for a person to learn more about what I am talking is to see the GDI Flash presentation.

I usually get 3 to 4 sign ups each month.

I hope this helps,

Alan

I've found that this is a good marketing strategy. The KEY is a good subject line and to keep the messages short.
