91  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Down-lines Banners on my site? on: August 18, 2010, 04:29:43 PM
I have had an idea and was wondering if it is acceptable for me to link the GDI banners on my websites to my down-line members, so they would be sponsored by my down-line team members instead of me? Thanks for any feedback!

Hello Stephen,

I just noticed that it appears your question was overlooked, for that I apologize. If you are still interested in linking the GDI banners on your own websites to the websites of your downline members you may do so. However, prior to making any changes to your website and the banners we would advise you to please obtain written authorization from your downline members to promote their website on yours.
92  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE DISCOVERING GDI? on: August 18, 2010, 03:30:07 PM
Hello Everyone,

Giving this topic a bump, it has been inactive for a while but forum members seem to think it's a very interesting thread. Besides, it's always nice to hear what other people were doing prior to joining GDI.

So what are you waiting for? Share your story with the rest of the .WS community!
93  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: PM Power! on: August 18, 2010, 03:04:30 PM
Hello,

Private Messaging is a very powerful forum tool which can enable you to directly and privately communicate with other members of the GDI forum. However, as of lately there has been several reports being sent to the forum admins regarding members misusing this tool to SPAM other members of the forum with unsolicited messages. GDI has a zero tolerance Anti-SPAM policy. Please make sure to read the forum rules and policies at http://talk.ws/index.php?board=25.0. Violation of forum rules or policies may result in removal of forum privileges as well as suspension and/or termination of your GDI account.

Thank you for your cooperation.
94  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: A Product Based Affiliate Page? Oh my! on: August 17, 2010, 01:41:26 PM
Hi all,

Were you on the GDI webinar last night?  Wow!  One of the better webinars in my humble opinion.  Tim really gave his all during the second half.  Wonderful advice and tips.  If you have not been to a GDI webinar, please do try and attend.  And when you attend, make sure to vote at the beginning.  This lets the GDI Affiliate Council know who is attending and where they need to focus attention.

Mr. Bart gave us a nice piece of news too.  If you look on many of the affiliate pages (replicated websites) that GDI has for you, you will notice a new video talking about the product.  It's really neat, take a look.

But, he also mentioned a new affiliate page.  So far, I have been unable to locate that page.  Perhaps I am jumping the gun here.  However, if anyone knows of a link to that new affiliate page would you please pass it along?

It's really exciting because the brief look he gave us made it seem like it was a product centered page.  I believe we have really been missing the boat on this one.  The business opportunity is great, don't get me wrong.  But remember (as Tim or Bart or maybe Tissa said in another webinar) we do not make money from other people.

We make money on the revenue generated from GDI's products and services.

So, out with the link yous guys!  Cheesy

And have a great day, everyone.  Thanks!

Vincent Parker

Hello Vincent,

I believe the link you are searching for is the updated product overview page, the direct link to the page is:

*Please copy and paste the link in your browser and replace "USERNAME" with your own GDI username.

96  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Multiple Accounts? on: August 12, 2010, 10:22:24 AM
Hello! I am trying to become part of the ashmax team, but he needs me to be apart of his downline. Is it ok to have multiple accounts as long as you are not in your own downline?

Hello Eboni,

No. Creating multiple accounts is a direct violation of our GDI's policies, regardless of the position of the accounts. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension and/or termination of your accounts.
97  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Compensation Plan on: August 09, 2010, 03:23:16 PM
Where in the world do I find the compensation plan?Huh? This is insane! I know it is a forced matrix, but I don't know what size or how much we make for each person we sponsor or how much we make on each level or if there are any matching bonuses. I can't believe how much time I've wasted trying to find the most basic information about how the business works!

Hello Tara,

Not sure where it might have been you might have been looking for the information you requested in your inquiry but here are some easy to follow steps on how to locate GDI's "Compensation Plan".

1. From within your account, click the "Documentation" tab located in the menu on the left.

2. From within the "Documentation" section, click the "Compensation Plan" link to bring up a PDF file with information of GDI's compensation plan.

3. If you wish to access GDI's compensation plan directly, you may do so by visiting https://www.website.ws/newdesign/documents/Compensation%20Plan.pdf.

To learn about compensation regarding current bonuses, you may do so by:

1. From within your account, click "Leaderboards" tab located in the menu on the left.

2. From within the Leaderboards section, click on "Learn About Available Bonuses" button to link to the page containing information regarding all of GDI's current available bonuses.

3. You may also access GDI's "Learn About Available Bonuses" page directly by visiting http://website.ws/kvmlm2/contests.dhtml?language=english.

Also, please keep in mind that several of GDI's videos touch on the compensation plan, such as the following screen shot from the Flash presentation:

98  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Ashmax and similar on: August 05, 2010, 10:55:35 AM
Jenny,

Cross Promoting: Suggesting, persuading, or promoting that an already established GDI customer drops their current GDI membership/upline so that they join under your downline or under a different sponsor.

Cross Recruiting: Promoting a product and/or service to established GDI members that is in direct competition with GDI's products and services.

Please keep in mind that GDI does have an Abuse department. Any instances of cross recruiting or cross promoting should be reported abuse@wsdomains.ws. All claims of cross recruiting or cross promoting are investigated thoroughly.
99  .WS/GDI Discussion / General Comments / Re: ??? Is it possible to change your GDI Sponsor? on: August 05, 2010, 10:26:35 AM
In need of help! Is it possible to change sponsors?

DerrickP

Hello Derrick,

Unfortunately once an affiliate account has been registered under a sponsor it is not possible to change the sponsor for that account.
100  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Ashmax and similar on: August 03, 2010, 04:19:31 PM
Has anyone else had a personal message here in the forum, from someone in a GDI teambuild Ashmax called JackyLam, asking you to delete your GDI account and sign again with them?

I have notified a moderator and have warned Jackylam that he is in breach of GDI TOS

I have also been approached outside of this forum by someone different in Powerpath GDI who also wanted me to change sponsors and was extremely abusive and threatened me when I refused and told him he was breaking the GDI rules. Fortunately he's on the other side of the Atlantic, but a VERY nasty character.

There are some extremely good team builds around who are more than happy to add you to their co-op advertising and let you join with your existing GDI accounts and I am in two different ones resulting in two new signups in the last month.  But if you see ads for either of the above, don't touch them!

GDI has a STRICT Anti-SPAM policy. We encourage all of our members to report ANY unsolicited electronic messages received through the GDI forum to Forum Administrators.

ANY unsolicited messages received OUTSIDE of the forum should be reported to abuse@wsdomains.ws. Please make sure to include the original message along with email headers if possible. For information on how to obtain email headers please visit: http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/19.html.

If the message was received through a different electronic messaging source please submit a screen shot (Outside forum, Instant Messenger, etc.). For more information on how to take a screen shot please visit: http://take-a-screenshot.org/

Also, please keep in mind that cross promoting/cross recruiting is a direct violation of our policies. Anyone involved in cross promoting/cross recruiting may end up having their account getting suspended and/or terminated. Upon termination of an account ALL services, domains, commissions, bonuses, and downlines are forfeited.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I don't know that labeling Ashmax or Powerpath GDI as groups you should avoid is fair. These groups along with other marketing groups out there exist because they have worked for and helped out other GDI members be successful. One or Two misguided members doesn't necessarily mean that the entire group is "bad".

When thinking about joining a marketing group, something someone should always do is research the group thoroughly take a look at the people asking you to join and ask yourself if you fit in to what the group's goal is and if it's a fit for you.

Hello Ramy,

102  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Question about Recieving $100 Bonus on: August 03, 2010, 11:36:04 AM
I was reading the bonus requirements and it states that you have to be in good standing in order to recieve the $100 dollars per every 5 new affiliates does that mean I must and positively have to be  a current GDI Premium customer, or have purchased at least ten (10) DVDs through my GDI account, or does paying your first payment of 10 bucks through paypal count as being i good standing. Huh

Hello Maurice,

In order to be eligible and qualify for the Weekly Superstars Bonus Contest, you MUST be a current GDI Premium customer OR have purchased at least 10 DVD's through your account. In addition to the previous requirement your account MUST be in good standing, meaning that neither your monthly service fee for your domain or GDI Premium service may be on default.

For more information on the Weekly Superstars Bonus Contest, you may visit http://website.ws/kvmlm2/contests.dhtml?language=english.
103  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Websites not accessible on: August 03, 2010, 11:11:52 AM
I have just discovered that my two domains are no longer accessible as http://www.mygreetings2u.ws and http://www.jennyfletcher.ws and I can only get to them via http://mygreetings2u.ws and http://jennyfletcher.ws

I have not received any notifications or explanations from GDI that this would be happening.

There are links to my websites from many places online, but before I go and change them all I want to know WHY.

My account is up to date, there are no warnings or flags anywhere in my member account - what is going on!

Hello Jenny,

Unfortunately we have been unable to duplicate the error you have encountered. Both of your domains, mygreetings2u.ws and jennyfletcher.ws, display properly with and without the "www.".

In the future, if you experience any issues with your account or domains we would suggest contacting our support department directly for a faster response.

Hello: I am very new and I am not understanding all of this at all, I am very confused. I think I may have signed up more than once because I am getting all kinds of email letters from different people and it is just too much to absorb. How do I know if I am responding to the correct emails?

Hello Christy,

It's hard to say which emails you should reply to and which ones you shouldn't. Some emails might be coming to you directly from GDI and some might be coming to you from your Upline sponsors. Ultimately, you'll have to read and decide which emails are the correct ones you should reply to.

Please keep in mind that it is against company policies to register/create multiple accounts, if you feel you have registered multiple accounts by mistake please contact our support department for further assistance.
