problem with website

hi am new here just start making website and accidently press on website in the midle of the work and now notpad dont open the file(tried workpad,word still cant open).now i cant finish my web site.maybe sombody could help thanks

How are you building your website?

It sounds as if you are using FTP, but could you give us a little more information on what you are doing?
