1  .WS Business / Marketing / Re: DVD Full Preview... on: August 05, 2007, 12:16:38 PM
Hi I am in New Zealand. I sent the company a request for a DVD and at first they had trouble understanding what I was talking about.  I thought my English must be bad. I also kept getting the message on the order page that they didn't ship to this area so I wrote to them and asked what about posting me a DVD. Well the 3rd email came back saying they could ship me a pack of 10 DVDs and the shipping cost was $158 and that would be US dollars. I thought how stupid. Some one wants to make money out of these DVDs. It's like another MLM business I am in and all my profit went on training tools. Lets get real here, we aren't all stupid, It's domain names we are selling. I simply joined this business because there was no selling involved and both me and my husband like networking so why can't we copy this video and distribute it freely. Some areas in New Zealand haven't got broadband and the speed of the broadband we have here is a joke so any country with the same problem will find it hard to recruit new members. I think the company has overlooked this point and I think it is their responsibility to put all their signed up members on an even playing field. My suggestion is that they have shipping or postage to every country and at a reasonable rate because most of us have joined to make some money out of this exercise. I may have to change my whole approach to this business. We will attempt to change our web page as I think we have got too much imformation on the page.Something isn't working to have only signed up 1 person in a month.

Does GDI offer good support with DVDs  and other promotional aids. I have requested the DVD from them and no one seem to know what I am requesting as they can't ship to New Zealand. I find this unbelievable  Huh When I fill out the order all I get is this message......Our shipping companies are not able to deliver to the specified mailing address. This is normally a result of an incorrect entry or typographical error. Please review the shipping address below and correct any errors, then press the Continue button again.
I suggested someone at their office to put it in a packet and post it. What is the problem here Huh. We need a DVD because the internet in some rural areas in NZ is very slow.
If a company is networking it needs to put in place a support system for its members and be in a position to ship to all its members. I appreciate the automatic system it is running and think its great but there are countries where this doesn't work too well. Can any one  help with this?Huh? Shocked

Just new to the GDI business, I am from Latvia and now married and living in New Zealand. We are 7 days old in the business and I got my husband to set up this web page. The page or pages will grow as we find answers to any downline needs but in the mean time we just show the presentation. As it says the presentation does the selling. English is my 3 language as Latvian is my first and Russian my 2nd. If any one from my corner of the world wants to discuss things I am here to listen Smiley

I was just looking for a home based business and thought for the sake of $10 US ($12.60NZ) what have we got to loose. My husband was writing a few web pages for different people in business as a part time job at night because computers are his hobby,so I though he could help me on that aspect. We have been in for 7 days and got our first sign up. That's quite exciting and they are excited too.  They are close friends and we really didn't think they would join us but who knows because when we saw the presentation we didn't sleep well that night. The added advantage is we already have a network business but this is different than anything we have seen before. I think GDI has been constructed in a very cleaver way and we are loving it. We will love it more when we have a 1000 downline or more as the sky is the limit. The video does the selling and all we have to do is put the plan in front of people and that animation presentation is great.  Grin

Hi I am new and from down under in New Zealand and from the other side of the world too. Just recently moved from  Riga Latvia and married an Aussie living in Marlborough New Zealand. I speak 3 languages English being my third one.  My native language is Latvian and the 2nd is Russian. I wanted to add that fact to my profile but I see the programer has left that out when I went to alter my details I see that a language can't be added. I have a lot to learn with all this.
