What's the minimum age of a person I can sign up with GDI?

Colin, I believe that according to the Terms of Service, the minimum age is 18.
3  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: Cost of shipping DVDs on: January 15, 2008, 04:29:33 PM
Hello...
This is Lois from Tasmania.
I have just signed up and this appears to be a very good opportunity, however I am a bit disappointed with the price of shipping the DVDs to Australia.... just to ship ONE DVD would cost me over a hundred Dollars!!!  I am very interested and enthusiastic to give this a go but really my enthusiasm has been dampened greatly by the prospect of having to pay such  high charges.... the DVD is worth $2.95 or something similar ... why is the cost to get it here so much??? Is there a more cost effective way??? Does anyone have clues... or am I missing something vital...waiting to hear.. Lois

Lois,

You may want to send people to http://www.freedom.ws/yourusername/show_dvd instead. This has the full DVD online, so you do not have to give them a physical copy.

Hello Luis,

No, there is no cost for username changes.

I've been at this about a year. I have nothing to show it. I'm not buying any of their DVDs and sending them out to PPL. It's a waste of good money! PPL sign up and when they find out you can't help them get signups they leave. Around here they advise you to advertise and promote but no one will say where they advertise or where they get their signups from. Take out ads in the papers. Ish don't think so. After looking in this forum I found a few pieces of ad copy to use but they have been unsuccessful so far. The only thing that keeps me with GDI is the fact that I have my own domain name for ten dollars a month. As for the money making end of it I don't see how PPL are doing it. When you ask for help all they say is read in the forum and go on the calls which to date have gotten me nowhere.

Not Dead Yet!!

Hello Alex,

I would be willing to take you under my wing, and share some of the same training materials I give my own downline, if you'd like?

Hello Robin,

I am not sure of the reason for this. However, there is a company called Banners Galore that specializes in creating banners for WebSite hosting companies. You may want to contact them and see if they could help you out. The last time I used them, I was pleased, and I think the price was good (though I cannot remember what it was right off).
7  .WS/GDI Discussion / New Member? / Re: Eastern USA on: January 14, 2008, 07:06:56 AM
it be nice if we had people that actually have been successful give everyone that is new pointers
The pointers have already been explained ... by GDI! Smiley

To be successful with this business, you just need to be persuasive enough to get people to watch the GDI presentation. Then, answer any questions they may have. Lastly, guide them through the signup process, and help them duplicate these steps to build their own downline!

It's very simple - and it works well.

Darren,

Personally, I don't think I would take the time to follow through on what i see in your ad. By using the text 'building websites', I think most readers will think that it takes a lot of work, and would require learning a whole new skill (HTML coding) that they do not have a desire to learn.

Hello everybody,
im giacomo,
i've just joined this, i must say, pretty interesting business.and im excited and impatient to make the engine start:)
i've also read a lot this forum and website so i think i understand what doing this involves.
just a question:is purchasing dvds and leads essential for making it work or not???
any reply ll be really appreciate
thanks

Hello,

No, I do not think so. These things can certainly help, but GDI is an opportunity that is accessible to anyone. There is the 7-minute presentation on the WebSite, which you can show to prospects instead of the DVD. And you can recruit friends, family, and business associates into your downline. While it is helpful to have the DVD (to give to someone who does not like watching video on a computer, for instance), I do not think it is required when you are getting started.

I do think you should order the GDI business cards and begin handing those out - that is a very good way to get new prospects.
10  .WS/GDI Discussion / Questions & Issues / Re: can someone help me with this on: January 07, 2008, 03:14:10 AM
B_Thomas, I know what this is like, as I have run into it myself. But why do people need proof? If they understand the concept, they will easily see that the potential for making lots of money is great. I know that when I have people who start demanding proof, I move on to other prospects - there are people who want to actually improve their lives, and not try to pick holes in something because they are too afraid to say it is not for them.

Michael,

I don't think that GDI Hosting supports FrontPage, though someone else may want to confirm this.

Before joining GDI, I worked in the Web hosting industry. I still serve as Administrator for a big free hosting company, but I am going to start focusing all of my efforts on GDI. Smiley This is a big opportunity! Cheesy
